mine’s the 4th for the books, but for the movie, its, uhhh still the 4th

Who likes Lupin? I LOVEEEEEE him with all my heart and soul (he and Tonks are my second favourite characters), but my friends either hate him or think he’s “weird” :’)
I kinda have a thing for kind, encouraging teachers, so I pretty much loved the guy the moment I laid eyes on him. He had an actual gift in teaching, and uplifted his students instead of making them feel bad about themselves (like Neville). He sees the best in everyone, even though most people only she the worst in him (his lycanthropy). He’s also a bit like me, being ashamed of a part of himself and terrified of rejection, which made him do things like abandon Tonks (which was incredibly stupid ngl, but I get why he did that) and not tell Dumbledore about Sirius, and so he’s really relatable to me.

Because literally, when I think about it, I was just listening to book 3 with my lil brother, and i realized, like book 3 was no different from the other books, but it was my favorite, because of Lupin. He is just extraordinary to me, the shining light of all the Hogwarts teachers who are like, mean, or have some flaw etc etc and Lupin was just different! sooo uhm yeah.
Yes, exactly! I wish all the Hogwarts teachers were like him and so understanding of their students, he’s basically The One Teacher to Rule Them All

So i’ve got a question. I just realized in book 2 they said Marcus Flint was a seventh-year, aka his final year of Hogwarts. But he still shows up in Book 3 and he’s still the Slytherin quidditch captain, etc. What’s up with that?
i think in fanon, he got held back, sometimes for the sole purpose of playing quidditch :p
