Hopefully this will make people understand Crow more and stop deciding that he’s abusive based on what the dark forest cats said.

I mean, sure, Crowfeather is shown to be distant towards Breezepelt, but we really never saw him being incredibly close with anyone after Feathertail and Leafpool. It seems silly to equate cold and distant behavior from a cold and distant cat with neglect or abuse.

He never showed his son or mate any love, and was repeatedly show to rebuke or outright ignore his son any time Breezepelt tried to impress him or gain any love or attention.

It’s not based on what the DF cats, it’s oerfectly clear to see that he’s a neglectful mate and father by observing his behavior in the text.

This spoiler/discussion page isn’t as popular as River of Fire’s SP, maybe after this becomes official and with cover, it’ll grow.

Guys… I was just looking at Warriors Wikia and realized that Crowfeather and everyone related to him have distant relationships with Darktail. 😮 Like Breezepelt, Hollyleaf, Jayfeather and Lionblaze.

That happens a lot because every cat in their clans are usually tied in some way to one another, not to mention the half-clans.

Very interesting. I’ll have to try to find out more about this SE once I’ve caught up! If Onestar isn’t already dead by the end of the fourth AVoS book, I’m presuming that Crowfeather may eventually become Crowstar, even if, personally, he doesn’t seem like the greatest choice for leader.
