So basically Kate, Tigerheart’s Shadow started during Darkest Night so the TS events was in 5-6 moons and it ended after Darkest Night too, right?

Kate, will we see the founders of the Clans (Thunderstar,Shadowstar,Riverstar,Windstar, & MAYBE Skystar) again in the 6th book prologue like in Long Shadows? I love to see their reaction on reuniting with Skystar again after so many years apart.

I hope this books timeline will be set a bit after dovewing and tigerheart (now tigerstar, how ironic) left the clans. would be interesting to see how and with what shadowclan and thunderclan (still my fav clan :3) had to cope during their absence.

Do you realize they are cats? They don’t care if they are related. I mean, Willowpelt and Patchpelt are siblings.
I’m certain that Willowpelt and Patchpelt weren’t written with the intention of being littermates, I’d assumed it was due to the family trees not being filled out when they were put together.
But more importantly, they’re very anthropomorphized cats; most plot lines wouldn’t function without that. They obviously care enough about who they fall in love with, so I don’t see why they wouldn’t care about being mates with their relatives…regardless of the species, books have always been a way of conveying morals and I don’t think that promoting incest is a great idea, especially if it’s not even canonically covered!
Well, Willowpelt and Patchpelt weren’t born in the same litter, but they had the same parents. Besides Patchpelt, Willowpelt also mated with Tawnyspots, having Darkstripe. She mated with Whitestorm, her final mate, having Sootfur, Rainwhisker, and Sorreltail. She died saving Sootfur (then Sootpaw) from a badger. Patchpelt’s littermate, Leopardfoot, was mates with Pinestar. They had Mistkit, Nightkit, and Tigerstar 1. Redtail, Willowpelt’s littermate, mated Brindleface. They had Sandstorm. So yeah! If Spottedleaf has SkyClan blood, her niece, Sandstorm, does too! And Sandstorm went on a quest to restore her ansectors’ Clan! Yay!

Hey they aren’t as bad as some of the other pairings in Warriors: Willowpelt and Patchpelt are siblings, Dustpelt was Ferncloud’s uncle, and most recently Snowbush and Lilyheart are straight up first cousins but no one seems to care.
Ivypool and Fernsong are 2nd removed cousins so honestly this is an improvement over how inbred some of the other cats are.
And it must be really weird for Ivypool. She’s married to someone a generation younger than her(okay the age thing doesn’t really matter but a cat like Ivypool might think it does), and she KNOWS she’s related to Lionblaze because of the prophecy!!!!
How much they are related is an improvement, though….
Hey, Kate? Will we ever get a super edition exploring Darktail’s backstory? We know about Onestar being Darktail’s father and all but I want to see a more in-depth backstory for Darktail maybe going over how he managed to gather so many followers? Or even a novella would be nice.
Yeah, it’s not really up to Kate as to whoever gets the next SE. We’d have one on Graystripe or Leopardstar by now if that was the case.
If it would be a Graystripe SE, then I’d have it during Firestar’s Quest so that we could finally find out, what happened in the Old Forest while Firestar was away.
That would actually be a good comedic book.

Kate, I’ve noticed you guys are using more unique names for the newer characters. Is this on purpose? Also, is moon an allowed prefix/suffix now (since it was used in Moonflower, Harveymoon, and Ambermoon’s names)? You should use Falcon, Martin (after the House Martin, a bird), Warbler, Elm, Shrike, Cardinal, Crane, Magpie, or Poplar as prefixes for Warriors in the future. Thank you so much!
Moonflower was a mistake, but Moon can be used for the second part of a name I think.
Yeah, I know that. It doesn’t really make sense to me unless they were then like “Oh well, whatever. Let’s just use Moon anyways!” But I don’t know.
I think Moon can be used as a suffix, but not a prefix.
