Cadvent Day 11

To be honest, I’m having trouble getting my Christmas mojo going. This is usually my favourite time of year, but I am just feeling sad. It’s been a difficult year. I only share with this you because I know I am not alone feeling sad during the holidays. So this is a post for all those who are feeling they should be happy but somehow can’t work up the enthusiasm, or those of you who are anxious or downhearted or just generally weary.

My advice is to go with it. Stay cosy and notice the small, sweet lovely moments of the season – like a mug of hot chocolate, or snuggling on a warm sofa when it’s chilly outside, or hugging your pet. This too shall pass.

In the meantime, I hope these happy Cadvent pictures will give you a little glimmer of happiness.

And Cadvent wouldn’t be Cadvent without a snowy cat picture. Thanks Fallenpaw for sending in. I hope this is the first of many. It’s snowing here right now, only lightly, but snow before Christmas in the UK is unusual and it’s adding a little festive cheer to the day.
