  • It’s been over a year…claimed! This is now a spot where me and my mentor can chat and talk!

    • Wishpaw/river | Wish Gliding In A River | Wishpaw, Wish, Wishy | Formerly Wishpaw/song! | Looking For A Mentor! says:

Hi! I’m so glad you offered to be my mentor! What’s your favorite book series? And what’s your favorite dessert? (I’m just trying to start off a conversation! 😛)

*Oops, my name still says looking for a mentor… 😛 I’ll change that!*

      • Hello my fellow apprentice. I am happy to be your mentor.

Supposing you mean not including Warriors, I like reading the Upside Down Magic series. I also like Bruce Cameron books and “Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World”. For some reason, I am intrigued about science and enjoy reading it. My favorite all time book would have to be “Dewey: The Small-Town Library Cat Who Touched the World” or “A Dog’s Purpose.” I highly recommend them. They really touch your heart.
What do you like reading? What’s your favorite genre? What’s your all time favorite book? (Your answers can include Warriors cat)

My favorite dessert is- wow hard to choose- pastries. Specifically pastries in patisseries. I love eating their croissants and napoleons (only the ones that make it very good). I also love the glazed mousse desserts. Very yummy! 😋 The best patisserie store I’ve been to is the one in Los Angeles, California called, “Artelice Patisserie.” I think they make the best napoleons. Also, they serve amazingly crispy, soft, luxurious croissants. I do recommend anyone who goes to LA for trip.
        What’s your favorite dessert?

I have a few questions to ask you too:

What is your favorite sport? Do you watch any sports on TV? If so, which ones? Do you do any sports?

Do you have any pets? If so, what do you have? Describe your pet if you have one. If you don’t what pet do you wish you could have?

How long have you been on the blog for?
Do you create any art pieces? If so, do you make warriors fan art and/or other pieces of art?

Would you consider yourself a night owl or early bird or both?

        Lastly,
What do you want to be when you grow up?

          Hello amazing mentor!

I love the Upside Down Magic series! My favorite all time book is (aghhh so hard!) either Stellarlune from Keeper of the Lost Cities, or one of the Starless Clan books. Also, I have to read those books you recommended! They sound good!

My favorite dessert is (why are you making me choose? 😛) probably a berry tart. Pastries are amazing too!

My favorite sport is tennis, but I don’t normally watch sports on tv. I also play tennis and golf! What about you?

I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Biscuit, and he’s a super cute brown and white one. He’s mostly brown, and has small white stripes running vertically down his back. But I really want a Siamese cat! Do you have any pets, and if not, what pet would you want?

I’ve been on the blog since late January, I think. What about you?

I love drawing nature, mostly plants and flowers. Do you like drawing? If so, what?

I am DEFINITELY a night owl, and NOT an early bird. (I am mostly on BlogClan at 9:00 pm!) What about you?

When I grow up, I want to be a marine biologist! What about you?

          • Hey! How is it going? Been busy with school work, but finally, next week on Wednesday, a break from school, YAY! But it’s high school and I have a few honors classes, so I do have homework over the break. 🙁

I like gymnastics. I enjoy doing gymnastics as well. It a lot of hard work, but somewhat rewarding. My dad likes watching Premier League, so I watch with him pretty much all the time.

Oh, your dog seems cute. I wanna see a photo of him. 🙂 I have two guinea pigs. One is a brown and white long-haired male named Caramel. The other is a black and brown short hair male with a tuft of on its back white. His name is Tiramisu. I posted a picture of them on the pet discussion. Also, you can click my name to see them on youtube.
I would like a cat or a dog.

I been here since May 2021.

I enjoy drawing. I draw random things ranging from animate to inanimate objects.

I consider myself a night owl, yet kinda wake up early. I am on the blog usually after dinner, or when I have finished homework, usually not in the mornings since I need go to school.

When I grow up, I don’t really know what I want to be, but that’s ok, still a freshman, got a few years. 🙂 Gotta keep my mind open. I have thoughts about becoming a veterinarian maybe specializing in cats and dogs only, but I can’t really stand a lot of blood, so ya.

Are you are multilingual? I can speak english, chinese, cantonese and a bit of italian.

How did you come up with your name? I don’t actually remember how I did my name, but it had something to do with the warriors cat website.
Your name is great, I love it. 🙂

My break starts on Friday after a play we perform. Except, half the grade hasn’t memorized their lines…

I can speak English, some Spanish, and some Bengali!

As for my name, I just like the prefix ‘Wish’, and my suffix was ‘song’ for a little bit before I changed it to ‘river’ because it sounded better.

              Here’s a photo of Biscuit: https://freeimage.host/i/dadb3957-b2ea-476e-a0b6-7d3434ca009e.HOfGQob

I know! Biscuit is really cute!

And the play is getting better, but I’m playing this song on the piano with this girl who claims that I’m being bossy when I’m trying to help her and getting all mad at me for no reason! And she bosses ME around!

Anyway, yes, I am Indian! I only know SOME Bengali though, I’m not fluent. In fact, I’m still taking lessons!

                  • Wishpaw/river | Wish Gliding In A River | Wishpaw, Wish, Wishy | Formerly Wishpaw/song | Amazing Willowstripes Apprentice! says:

The bossy girl switched to the other people playing the keyboard, so now THEY are playing the piano, and me and another girl are playing the keyboard.

And today was our first show! It went really good, but I think we could have been louder when reading our lines

Thankfully, everyone was off script! But tomorrow, some people are going to be absent, so people will fill in for them with SCRIPTS on STAGE 😅

Also, on 4/11-4/16 I’ll be on vacation, so I’ll be inactive 🙂

                    Edit: Ooh that’s a long comment! 😛

Hi Willowstripe! Welcome back! (I’m replying on a different comment because the other comments were getting harder to read and smaller!)

Tokyo sounded amazing! (I’ve never been out of the country 🙁). For spring break, we flew down to Los Angeles and went to the Warner Brothers Studio, where they film a lot of movies and tv shows and stuff. They also had this really cool interactive Harry Potter place (I’m a Harry Potter fan!), where the Sorting Hat can sort you into a house. I got Ravenclaw! (I don’t know if you’ve read or watched Harry Potter, so this might make no sense to you, sorry). We also went to Universal Studios, where I got chocolate from the Harry Potter World called Fizzing Whizbees, and I let my dad try them and became obsessed with them and took like half of my pack before getting his own. 🙄 I also went on a lot of rides with my mom, even Revenge of the Mummy…(a really creepy and fast roller coaster INSIDE with like creepy voices and creepy statues and stuff). I hated it. But my parents are scaredy-cats, and I’m not really, so I made them go on a bunch of different rides, including the Jurassic Park one with an 84 foot drop. But them and my sister also wanted to try it. Anyway, we drove down from LA to San Diego (yep, the whole three hours in a car) and went to the San Diego Zoo, as well as the Safari Park, where we got to see an ACTUAL CHEETAH run AT FULL SPEED in FRONT OF US!!! (Sorry, I was a bit I over excited 😛). We also went to Sea World, and me and my mom went on a ride, and, just like the last time we came, my sister came up to us with a giant stuffy. 🤦‍♀️ Anyway, we got some San Diego Zoo keychains and at the Warner Brothers studio, we got wands that were models of the Harry Potter characters’ wands! My sister got Hermione’s, and I got Sirius Black’s.

Do you have any cool stories about Tokyo? 😀

    • Ooo! Sounds like you have a blast in LA and San Diego! I went there for Christmas actually! We drove down to LA and San Diego. I went to the zoos, SeaWorld, and ate a lot of good foods.

Tokyo was great! My family had an amazing trip! It was a long flight, but was worth it. We spent time at a cat cafe where you can interact with cats and drink something. It was a fun experience. Actually my profile picture is a cat from the cafe! We check out some shines and traditional foods there. Oh boy, the foods were so good! I loved every bite of food I got. They make everything carefully and beautifully! I went to some art aquarium. Saw the goldfishes and how people composed the tanks like pieces of art. I saw some cool looking shopping mall and took the train and subways. We even went to a Ghibli Museum. (If you don’t know what it is just google “Studio Ghibli”. It’s basically a museum with the works of what this company does.) We went shopping ofc. Bought a lot of snacks back and some cute souvenirs. My favorite part was eating food traditional food like mochi and some bean paste with some other bean paste inside. Kinda like one layer of bean paste as a mochi dough wrapped in another type of bean paste. We checked out the Disneyland there and DisneySea. The Disney rides are a little different from California’s, and Florida’s. (Possibly Hong Kong’s too, but don’t remember much of that one.) We got the Japan Disney’s 40th anniversary plates and cups! So adorable and pretty! The items at the store too were impressively cute! I loved the tin designs. I haven’t tried the cookies and chocolate yet because we need to eat the things that expire first. I remember there was a place where the company used lights to make art. It was really cool.

    • Continued

I also went to a Cup Noodle- is it Cup Noodles?-museum. We made instant ramen there! Such a fun experience! Oh and I need to mention the Basket Robbins there. We went into a mall and saw it in the food court. Guess what it had. Ik what your think ‘ice cream, right?’ Yeah, duh, of course, it’s Basket Robbins, but there’s a catch. Unlike the American Basket Robbins, there’s cakes, super duper cute cakes. (Idk if where you live, there are cakes in your Basket Robbins so yea.) My dad got to see his Gundam that he has been wanting to see. We ate a kaiseki meal! It was so good, the best meal every! We went to the Narita airport and shop, shop, SHOP, ShOp, sHoP, shOP, SHop… Basically, we shopped like one full hand carry of stuff. We had an amazing trip! We ate a lot and learned a bit about their culture.

Ooh that sounds sooo fun! Now, I am going to give you an impossible challenge 😛 If you had to choose one food that you had in Tokyo, what would it be? 😀

        • Umm… well, it’s not impossible, but there’s definitely a lot to choose from. I loved their green tea sweets. They really bring out the tea flavor unlike here in America. I taste the flavor, but it doesn’t overpower any other components of the dessert. Japanese really are good at flavor combos too! They mix green tea with red beans and dango puuurrrfectly. They are really good at balancing flavors and making each flavor have its own beautiful solo in the performance.

School’s good! Though three months ago, I lost my bestie. She started hanging out with another girl and completely abandoned me. 😭 But me and my other friends are good! As for school, we’re nearing the end of the school year, yet we still have a LOT of big things to do. But school’s been awesome! How about you? 😀

      • School’s been good. We are approaching finals, so we are getting more work. We got three more weeks till then. That good thing is that after, it’s summer break, YAY!!

Oh, that’s sad you and your bestie broke up. It happens sometimes. Maybe your bestie will realize a mistake and hangout with you again. 🤞

        • Wishpaw/river | Wish Gliding In A River | Wishpaw, Wish, Wishy | Formerly Wishpaw/song | Amazing Willowstripes Apprentice! says:

Hopefully! I mean, we’re not NOT friends, but we just aren’t really talking. Honestly it’s fine.

Okay so on Friday my grade did this dance called the maypole in front of our parents. The maypole is where there’s a pole with ribbons attached to it and you hold onto the ribbons and dance around the circle like ‘step step step HOP! Step step step HOP!’ while passing people and there is an inside and an outside ring of people and we move in sync and you pass the person that is diagonal from you. It’s complicated, but maybe you already know what the maypole is idk. We had a big party after the maypole too. Before the party, while the parents were taking pictures, my mom took a photo of me and two of my friends because we all went to preschool together and she sent them to the friends’ parents and we compared them to our preschool graduation photos and ohhhh we looked so different!

Anyway, Thursday was also my sisters bday. Aaand I’m sorry I haven’t been to active school’s been busy 😮‍💨.

Also it was the 12th Graders’ last day of school on Friday and we saw them jump into the pool WITH THEIR CLOTHES ON and they got teachers to jump in too.

I, for one, am NOT excited for summer vacation. I love school soooo much and right now I’m missing it so much even though it’s Saturday and just a weekend…

Anyway, did/do you have anything big or special going on? 😀

          • You guys had a maypole. Never had it or heard of it honestly. Yeah, I get what you mean. You have this pole in the middle and a bunch of ribbons attached to it. Sound interesting.
Well, during the weekend, I went to Paso Robles for some of private business. yeah that’s basically what happened over the weekend.
I can’t wait for summer!! I get a break! Finally! I have finals coming up and super nervous for them, especially the english one.

I believe for summer im helping at a chinese camp. that’s all my plan for summer rn.
