Hi! I’m Otterpaw, with my fourth article. (I’m pretty sure.) Anywho, by the title I’m going to talk about Crowfeather, and who he loves more. Let’s start off with Crowfeather’s first crush… Feathertail.
CROWXFEATHER
In this ship, Crowfeather (Crowpaw at the time) met Feathertail when they were on the journey to see Midnight. Crowpaw is very snappy and has a sharp tongue. Feathertail is the only one that can calm him down… hmm…
Anyways, when Feathertail dies, Crowpaw and Feathertail’s brother, Stormfur mourns Feathertail together. In the book, Dawn, Crowpaw almost dies, and when Squirrelpaw and Brambleclaw asks him what he is doing, he replies with, “I’m not frightened of joining StarClan! The forest is dying anyway. At least in StarClan, Feathertail will be waiting for me!”
Crowpaw really loved Feathertail. And when Tallstar gives him his warrior name, he requests the name Crowfeather, after Feathertail. By my evidence, you might think that I’m a CrowXFeather shipper, but no. First off, I sort of think Feathertail is too old for Crowfeather, and Feathertail was more of a high school crush. I’m just putting down what happened from the book here, but I don’t ship Crowfeather and Feathertail.
Alright! Let’s move on to Crowfeather’s next mate… Leafpool!
LEAFXCROW
This one… oh I really like this ship! It’s about Leafpaw, medicine cat apprentice of ThunderClan and Crowfeather, warrior of WindClan! First off, Leafpool is breaking the rules here, which I love. Crowfeather confesses his love to Leafpool when he saves Leafpool from falling off the tall ledge of ThunderClan’s camp. Leafpool is in shock, but is relieved that he loves her.
Let’s go on, now. It’s about when Crowfeather plans to run away from the Clans with Leafpool, so they can be together. Leafpool agrees, but later on finds out that her heart is with ThunderClan, and being a medicine cat. In Sunset, Crowfeather breaks up the relationship.
Leafpool has Crowfeather’s kits later on; Hollykit, Lionkit, and Jaykit. I feel like if Leafpool wasn’t a medicine cat, this could have worked out. Crowfeather really loved Leafpool, and this is one of my favorite ships.
Alright! Now, let’s go on with Crowfeather’s last mate… ugh… Nightcloud.
CROWXNIGHT
In The Sight, Crowfeather has a mate in WindClan, Nightcloud, and a son, Breezepaw. There’s nothing much about this ship, and the cats just had a son, Breezepelt who is terrible. Crowfeather probably just took Nightcloud as a mate just to prove that he’s loyal to WindClan.
In my opinion, Crowfeather loves Leafpool and her kits more than Nightcloud, Feathertail, and Breezepelt. He did love Feathertail, but that faded away. In The Last Hope, when Breezepelt is about to kill Lionblaze (his half brother,) Crowfeather stops him by attacking him. Crowfeather says that Nightcloud encouraged him to hate Crowfeather, which makes me wonder: Does Nightcloud actually love Crowfeather?
Well, that it for my article! I personally think that Crowfeather loves Leafpool more than Feathertail and Nightcloud, but that’s just my opinion! Please no hate!

Amazing article! I wrote my own piece about my opinions of this, but I´m more of a Crowfeather hater if anything- I don´t ship him with Leafpool, and your really correct in my opinion on the Nighcloud piece. If I had to ship him with a cat it would be Feathertail. When hes in Starclan, three she-cats will be fighting like crazy… XD. Beautiful piece though!
I just found this on the internet. I’m only on the 2nd series and I searched up who NightCloud is and she sounds like a pain in the neck. My friend told she hates ThunderClan just because of Crowfeather’s former mate: Leafpool! NightCloud seemed alight at first when I read about her on the internet but Crowfeather and her created a monster! And in my opinion Feathertail is nice and all but she…WE GOTTA REMEMBER THAT SHE IS DEAD! I’m not much of a lovydovy kind of girl but I’m just sharing my opinion. Leafpool is one of my favourite characters. The only thing I hate about her is that her and Crowfeather created HOLLYLEAF. I hate Hollyleaf with all my guts. SHE RUINED 2 RELATIONSHIPS IN THE SAME NIGHT. NOW LEAFPOOL AND CROWFEATHER HATE EACH OTHER AND SQUIRRIELFLIGHT WON’T TALK TO BRAMBLECLAW. Life is NOT fair.

That is very unfair. Hollyleaf was only sharing the truth since every since she was a kit she thought that honesty could never go wrong. How would you feel if your mother gave you up to her sister and almost got killed by Ashfur for a lie that you never had any control over? Even while living in the tunnels Hollyleaf still looked after her clan like when she catches yarrow and left it for jay feather. Don’t forget, if Hollyleaf had decided to stay with Fallen Leaves Thunderclan wouldn’t have won the battle with Windclan. She was brave enough to go back to protect the home she loved even though she knew everyone must hate her.
I think Hollyleaf shoudn’t be a character. She’s MONSTER. She ruined Crowfeather and Leafpool’s relationship and Squirrelflight’s and BrambleClaw’s too. I hate NightCloud and Feathertail’s alright but I like Leafpool. I just found this on the internet. I’m not a lovydovy person but I wanted to share my opinion

I’m not trying to argue here but I’m not sure describing Hollyleaf as a ‘monster’ is fair. Yes, she did damage two relationships, but would Leafpool and Crowfeather have worked out anyway? She was only doing what she thought was best. The truth. Since she was a kit she believed that being honest was the right thing. How do you think she feels, knowing she is the product of multiple broken codes and lies? That she almost got killed by Ashfur for even just being alive? My living in the underground tunnels for so long, she was able to help Thunderclan counter the attack from Windclan, and she gave up her own life fighting for the clans in the great battle. In my opinion, Hollyleaf is very misunderstood.

Crowfeather loves Leafpool, and even had kits with her, and even said he doesn’t regret anything he had with her. While on the other hand Feathertail was a simple childhood crush and the feelings were never truly real, Feathertail was also too old for Crow(paw) at the time. Plus, They had already said their goodbyes and Crowfeather had stopped crushing on her a long time ago.

I like that and i think that Leafpool and crowfeather would have worked out really well if they were in the same clan and if Leafpool wasn’t a medicine cat

I don’t understand why people say, “Feathertail is too old for him.” I hate how people don’t count FeatherXCrow. It is a ship, not a popular one, but still. And plz stop calling Feathertail a Mary Sue (if you do) she has some flaws.

I feel like crowfeather must have loved leafpool most because he fell in love w her all on his own even though she wasn’t even in the same clan as him. And he was fully matured and grown too. I do wish it had more juice and they could have had a bit of a happier ending but oh well. And I don’t not like feather and crow, it was cute and they did love each other but I feel like crow and leaf were just a bit better. And guys I don’t think anyone agrees w crow x night so we can just throw them off the bus. But yea that’s just what I think. (And if leafpool isn’t w crowfeather in starclan I hope they can still be good friends bc they still do love each other even if it’s not in that way)
