Reading survivors got me into reading warriors i LOVE Arrow. and I was so excited for the latest book and then i finished and was like why did i read this? *sobs*
Ikr? I mean, I read Warriors before Survivors, and that’s why I started reading Survivors, but yes, I love Arrow, and the last book was so good and so sad, and just because it was the LAST one, it’s even sadder.
😛 I read Warriors first, then Survivors, and then Seekers (but never read past book one for Seekers) 🙂
*revives*
Do you prefer Warriors or Survivors? 🙂
Survivors 😛
Boooooth!
Warriors
Hey Kate, Who’s your favorite dog in Survivors?
I’ve not read Survivors! It’s all I can do to keep up with Warriors!
😛I totally get it, I thought I would never be able to read all the Warriors books, but… I did in like three weeks😜
😀
🙂
I’m about halfway through the second book of Survivors, and wow, Alpha really reminds me of Clear Sky as he was in the first few books of Dawn of the Clans.
I’m sad that the series ended. I got into this series back in 2016, and fell in love with it. 🙁
Mickey: *gets to keep his longpaws’ glove, gets let back into the Wild Pack after running off to the city to find his longpaws*
Firepaw: Hey, no fair! How come he gets to live with a paw in two worlds?
LOL
Storm is my favorite character from Survivors.
I’m actually more of a dog person, although I like Warriors a little better.
I really liked the first series of Survivors, but so far this second arc isn’t QUITE as good (although I appreciate Storm being the main character of it).
As much as I love Warriors, it drags things out, and Survivors didn’t start to drag things until this second arc. A shame, really.
MINE TOO!!! SHE IS AWESOME!!! i wish whisper was her true mate…
I’m gonna re-read the final battle them I think I might try and continue Survivors 😯😛
I still think the Four Paws rule could have worked with some modifications. For instance, instead of each idea needing four dogs and only four dogs to agree, if there are multiple ideas being voted on then whichever one has the most paws in for it is the one that the dogs will act on, and if there is only one proposed idea, then it still needs at least a third of the dogs’ approval—I believe at the time that would be five paws. I think the main reason Four Paws failed was because four is not enough to represent the opinions of every dog—at the time of the rule’s brief implementation, you could have almost four different, opposing ideas that would all, according to just the rule of Four Paws, have to be acted on. Instead of scaling Four Paws to the number of dogs actually in the Pack, they decided to completely abandon the idea. The story would definitely go in a much different direction if they had kept with a modified rule of Four Paws, but I think it would be at least worth trying with a group the size of the pre-Storm of Dogs Wild Pack, and I would think it would be a better option for the Pack than keeping the strict leadership and hierarchy—and Lucky and Sweet do both become a lot stricter once they take charge of the Pack. Not to the same extent as the old Alpha, but definitely somewhat.
Never read it!
I never really noticed when I first started reading Survivors, but Fiery is awesome. He’s so caring and kind and respectful and he was able to care for Moon’s Pack without getting sick and he has such great ideas and he would probably make the best Alpha for the Wild Pack if he had survived.
If the mortal dogs somehow became spirit-dogs, which ones do you think they would be? I think Martha would be the River-Dog (I think Storm was actually thinking they might be the same now), Fiery would be the spirit-dog of adaptive immunity, Mickey would be the spirit-dog of communication, and Lucky would be the Forest-Dog or the Forest-Dog’s sidekick. Storm might be the spirit-dog of the night, good friends with the Moon-Dog, although I haven’t finished reading the second arc, so I don’t know all about her.
Guys, I wasn’t kidding I started brain dumping for another book 😛
