StarClan’s Kits! by Possumsky

Possumsky gives warrior names to cats that were never granted them. 

Possumsky–formerly Goosewing–here! I’m sure somebody’s already done this at some point, but I just want to say what I think the warrior names would have been for the kits/apprentice that died and joined StarClan before they grew up. There might be some spoilers in here if you’re not caught up! So, without further ado:

Ravenpaw (ThunderClan: Robinwing and Fuzzypelt’s son: Dustpelt’s brother) = Ravenwing. He’s more of a special case, seeing as he left the clans before he got his warrior name rather than dying before he was promoted. I think one of the Erins said they’d like his name to be Ravenwing at one point and I think it suits him well

Swiftpaw (ThunderClan: Goldenflower’s firstborn) = Swiftclaw. I feel like it suits him and I really like the name 😛

Gorsepaw (WindClan: Morningflower’s son) = Gorseheart. I was really sad when he got killed off, he seemed like he’d be a cool character. I like to think he would’ve eventually become WindClan’s leader if he survived

Mistlekit (ThunderClan: Speckletail’s daughter) = Mistlestripe. I like to think that if she and Snowkit survived they would have been really close and possibly developed some form of sign language so that they could talk to each other

Snowkit (ThunderClan: Speckletai’s daughter) = Snowhawk. Haha. I’m funny I swear. Anyway, it could a tribute to surviving the hawk attack? I couldn’t think of a name I really liked for him, maybe Snowheart?

Mosskit (ThunderClan/RiverClan: Bluestar’s daughter) = Mossfire. I feel like she would’ve been the most rambunctious of her littermates, and might’ve left RiverClan for ThunderClan after she figured out who her mother was

Shrewpaw (ThunderClan: Ferncloud and Dustpelt’s son) = Shrewpelt. I really liked him and I kind of felt like he died without much cause, which is sad. I think he’d probably have been a more interesting character to have around than Spiderleg, but oh well

Perchkit (RiverClan: Mistystar’s son) = Perchfeather. I imagine her being the runt of her litter and very shy

Primrosepaw (RiverClan: Mistystar’s daughter) = Primrosepetal. It’s a pretty name 😛 I actually like all the names/descriptions of Mistystar’s kits and wished more of them could have made it to warriorhood

Pikepaw (RiverClan: Mistystar’s daughter) = Pikeclaw. Kind of a tribute to his father Blackclaw (or, at least who I headcanon as his father, I’m not sure if Blackclaw was ever confirmed to be Mistystar’s mate or not….)

Eaglekit (WindClan: Ashfoot’s son: Crowfeather’s brother) = Eaglefoot. I always imagined he’d be named after his mother

Hollykit (ThunderClan: Dustpelt and Ferncloud’s daughter) = Hollyflower. I don’t really remember much about Hollykit but I like this name

Larchkit (ThunderClan: Dustpelt and Ferncloud’s daughter) = Larchfur. I feel like she would have taken after Dustpelt’s personality and possibly been mentored by Sootfur

Molepaw (ThunderClan: Sorreltail and Brackenfur’s son) = Molenose. I had a headcanonn that Brightheart was his mentor, since we don’t actually know who his mentor was

Seedpaw (ThunderClan: Sorreltail and Brackenfur’s daughter) = Seedmist. I really liked her and felt bad for Brackenfur when she died. I like Lilyheart and all but I feel like Seedpaw has more of a personality…

Mistkit (ThunderClan :Leopardfoot and Pinestar’s Daughter: Tigerclaw’s sister) = Mistwhisker. In my head she’s the sister and Tigerclaw would always fight with

Nightkit (ThunderClan: Leopardfoot and Pinestar’s Daughter: Tigerclaw’s sister) = Nightfoot. Named after her mother, Leopardfoot. I’d like to think she would have mentored by Thrushpelt

Finchkit (WindClan: Palebird and Sandgorse’s daughter: Tallstar’s sister) = Finchfeather. I’m kinda of sad we never really got to see her in cannon, I always imagined she would have played more of a “big sister” roll in Tallstar’s life and stood up for him when they were kits

Patchkit (ThunderClan: Mapleshade’s son) = Patchfeather. I don’t usually like the prefix -Patch because it’s hard to find a good suffix that hasn’t already been used, but this seems to fit well

Petalkit (ThunderClan: Mapleshade’s daughter) = Petalwish. She seemed sweet and I feel like there’s some irony in giving her the same suffix as Frecklewish

Larchkit (ThunderClan: Mapleshade’s son) = Larchshine. Kind of a tribute to his mother in a way

Sweetpaw (ThunderClan: Poppydawn and Windflight’s daughter) = Sweetfur. It kind of fits into the traditional suffix theme that Rosetail and Thistleclaw have going on

Pricklekit (RiverClan: Icewing and Mintfur’s son) = Prickletail. I don’t remember much about him…

Dandelionkit (ThunderClan: Squirrelflight and Bramblestar’s daughter) = Dandeliontuft. I’d like to imagine she was the fireball of the litter and was always getting into mischief

Juniperkit (ThunderClan: Squirrelflight and Bramblestar’s son) = Junipershade. I think he would’ve been more reserved and been close with Alderheart

I’m gonna cut myself off here. I’m sure there are a couple more kits that I missed, but meh. I’m sick and this is all I’m willing to do for now. Also, sorry if any BlogClan names ended up on here, I checked make sure these weren’t cannon but I forgot to do a BlogClan check. Oh well. If your names up there kudos to you, you have won my favor 😛
