If anyone is looking for an anime recommendation, I’d 100% recommend Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.
You don’t have to have watched the original Fullmetal Alchemist, FMA Brotherhood is a remake of it that sticks closer to the manga than the original.
Also, the openings are all great. By the way, I watch the dubs because all my fav dub VAs are in it and I didn’t think Ed (protag)’s subbed voice fit as much as the dubs.
It’s also the mildest anime I’ve seen so far. I’d say it’s as bad as My Hero Academia without Mineta in it. I looked it up and there’s only a couple of iffy moments in the entire show, which is 64 episodes. I’ve only seen one episode of the original Fullmetal Alchemist but from what I saw there is more blood/gore than Brotherhood (and Brotherhood doesn’t have gore anyways, or at least from what I’ve seen and I’ve seen a third to a half of it).
I will warn you the background of this anime is complicated, so tune in for every word. If you don’t pay attention to the dialogue sometimes you might end up really confused.
But watch it. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
