  • -Lightstar-

Lightstar paced around her den, thinking. What could that tom possibly of meant when he said he was going to do something about us? Lightstar lay down into her nest and drifted into sleep.

        • -Lightstar-
          *after talking with Beepaw*
Lightstar beckoned towards her den and padded inside. She curled her tail around her paws as she sat down and started talking to Bird. “What is so important?”

(When you respond to this please post a new comment this once because sometimes when people reply to the same comment multiple times, I can’t see what the comment says)

  • -Beepaw-

“Lightstar, can I become the medicine cat apprentice? I’ve wanted to since I was a young kit! Please!”

  • Mintleaf padded out of the warrior den. She saw that Lightstar was talking to a young apprentice, so she decided to speak with her later. She had an idea of how to spy on the Outcasts, using her power. Thinking of her power, she shape-shifted into a light brown she-cat with… ahh, she couldn’t get the eyes quite yet. She had been working on her power since she was a kit, and she hadn’t fully mastered it yet. It was frustrating.

    • -Beepaw-
“Hi, Mintleaf! How’s it going? Your eyes aren’t quite right… You’re getting so much better! What do you NEED that for, anyway?”
*says jokingly* “what, are you gonna spy on the Outcasts?”

      • Mintleaf rolled her eyes. “Yeah, yeah, I know. It’s just… it would be good to get it perfect, just in case the Outcasts come to invade or whatever.” She hesitated a little bit. Should she tell Beepaw…? No, she didn’t know him/her (sorry I don’t know Beepaw’s gender) well enough yet. She decided to answer just as jokingly. “Yeah, I’ll spy on them as soon as mice talk and the clouds turn pink!”, she mewed humorously. “Like I said, it would be good to practice just in case they invade. I mean, it can’t be too long until that happens, considering that weird tom that has hanging outside the camp.”

        • -Beepaw-
Beepaw laughed and stated dryly, “i’m sure a Twoleg could make mice speak if they want to.” Beepaw purred and said, “do you want to go hunting, Mintleaf? I want to find some other cats, but,” she flattened her ears, looking embarrassed. “I don’t think anyone trusts me yet. Or really likes me. I’m still pretty new…”

          Beepaw is a girl

          • (So is Mintleaf)
“Sounds good,” mewed Mintleaf. “And just maybe we might find some talking mice. Wouldn’t that be a find?” she chuckled and began to walk out of camp to hunt. She broke out in a run. “Betcha can’t catch me!”
(Note: Mintleaf is NOT flirting with Beepaw, she just wants to be friends.)

            • (duly noted, Robin)
“Haha! Wanna bet! If I catch you, I get the best prey!”
Beepaw broke into a run after Mintleaf, cherishing the feel of the wind on her whiskers.

              • ( 😛 )
Mintleaf dashed into the forest. She ran into a tree-hole, hoping Beepaw wouldn’t find her here.
                —————–
Time flew by, and before she knew it, it was sundown. She hadn’t seen Beepaw for a while. She climbed out of her hiding spot and found herself face-to-face with a black she-cat.
Was she… near the Outcasts’ camp?!

  • -Bird-
“Lightstar… I think we should send some cats the Outcasts. A rogue friend of mine named Cherry just kitted. She DOES have powers but she doesn’t want to join… Her kits were born with no powers. She’s… disgusted. The kit that has no power is named Oak. She’s a brown tabby she-cat. Cherry wants to give her to the Outcasts. Also… I think we should send some spies to the Outcasts. I was talking with a… friend… and he said that the Outcasts were planning a rebellion. I was thinking Oak could be raised here for a bit, so she’ll be loyal, then we’ll tell her the plan and send her there. Every two moons she’ll sneak out and come back to report.”

*sorry for such a long reply, Stormy!*

    • (I honestly like longer comments)

      -Lightstar-

Lightstar nodded at Bird and answered her. “That sounds like a great plan. Please see if Cherry would be willing to give us Oak now. We just need to find someone to raise her.”

      • -Bird-
        “Of course, Lightstar.”

Bird rushed into the woods and padded to Cherry’s den. Cherry raised her head to Bird as she padded in. “Cherry. Lightstar has excepted Oak. Give him to me,” she meowed. Cherry looked down at her brown tabby kit. “Ok,” she meowed, pushing the kit to Bird. Bird picked her up and left.

  • -Hollypool-

Hollypool sat in a shady corner, nibbling on the leg of a rabbit. She was concerned about Lightstar not seeming to take real action against this strange tom. This won’t be good if he actually does something against us. But would he really stand a chance? Hollypool gazed across camp while she continued to eat, and wondered if she should do something on her own.

    • -Bird-
Bird set Oak down. She took a deep breath and meowed, “Lightstar… What if… we don’t… really…. feed her? Like, we feed her just enough to let her live. I mean, we don’t know how much food she’ll get when we send her to the Outcasts. It’s just an idea. I get it if it’s not a good one.”

(Stormy, can I add a new character for the Outcasts? Her name is Brie, she got a kittypet name from her mother who is dead I guess?)

  • -Beepaw-
Beepaw swept her tail over the ground. Where did Mintleaf go? Her ears flattened and she turned back to camp. Of course. She padded slowly back to camp. She didn’t want to face Mintleaf yet. Not again. She lashed her tail and dug her claws into the ground.

    • -Beepaw-
“When we were running out of the camp. She ran out and I followed her but she was gone.”

      • -Lightstar-

Lightstar mewed reassuringly, “I’m sure Mintleaf will show up soon, but we have more important matters to attend to. Lightstar padded back to Bird. She nodded at the she-cat. That sounds perfect. Please tell me when Oak is ready to start spying.

  • Hail Frost padded over to the prey pile and chose a fish, setting himself down in the shade of the trees and bushes. He sighed and rolled over, bored. Hail Frost wanted to go into the wilderness, past the borders, like he and his friends had done when apprentices. Now he was older, stronger, and more experienced. Finishing the last scraps of meat, Hail Frost set out for the border.
It didn’t take him long, though the territory was big. He leapt onto a tree stump and surveyed the land. Next to him was an uprooted oak. That’s where Eaglesong caught his first squirrel, he remembered pleasantly. And Roar fell from that tree right there. Snake killed a snake next to those rocks. Memories of his friends went through his mind. And then a fox killed all of them. I’m the only one left now.

(They are Harry Potter references. Eaglesong is Ravenclaw, Roar is Gryffindor, and Snake is Slytherin. The four of them are Padfoot, Moony, and Prongs. Wormtail does not deserve to be on the wonderful list)
