Hi, I’m Sorrelpaw! I’m going to go right into today’s article, which is about Leopardstar VS Bluestar. I’ve already done an article on them before, so this is just Part 2 of that article. If you want to read Part 1 of the article first, click here!
So, like in Part 1 of Leopardstar VS Bluestar, I’m going to be trying to prove whether Bluestar was better or Leopardstar was better! In Part 1, I mostly focused on their contributions to their Clan, but in this article, I’m going to be focusing on their times of weakness. Which is kind of like the opposite to their contributions. Ouch.
So, Bluestarr!! Bluestar’s greatest time of weakness was obviously the time after she’d been betrayed by Tigerstar and she lost faith in her Clan and StarClan. During that time, she blocked out all the other cats’ attempts to help her, and believed that her Clan had betrayed her. She made her Clan become weaker, and this is why it counts as her anti-contribution. This was a terrible time period for ThunderClan!
And now, Leopardstar. Leopardstar’s greatest time of anti-contribution (aka weakness) was probably when Tigerstar convinced her to ally RiverClan with ShadowClan. This is very different from Bluestar in the sense that she was probably aware of what was going on, while Bluestar was in a mad daze. Leopardstar was, as most people believe, more evil than Bluestar in her time of greatest anti-contribution because Leopardstar was really the one who killed Stonefur.
Had Leopardstar not allianced with Tigerstar, then Tigerstar’s hate towards half-Clan cats would never have been able to be unleashed onto the half RiverClan, half ThunderClan cat, Stonefur. But Leopardstar allowed Tigerstar to attempt to torture Stonefur, and did not intervene when they were killing him. So Leopardstar’s anticontribution actually killed her own Clanmate.
But now let’s look at Bluestar again! When Bluestar was lost in her despair and her misery, she no longer believed in StarClan and kind of gave up all responsibility on her Clanmates. When Fireheart, under the repeated requesting of Longtail, tried to convince Bluestar to make Longtail’s apprentice Swiftpaw into a warrior, Bluestar refused the requests. This caused Swiftpaw to want to prove to Bluestar that he was worthy of becoming a warrior, because he believed that Bluestar didn’t want to make him into a warriors because he wasn’t worthy of it.
So Swiftpaw decided without any warrior knowing that he would lead a few cats to try to defeat the dogs at Snakerocks. But his plan failed, and the dogs killed him and injured Brightheart. Bluestar refused to make Swiftpaw a warrior, which made Swiftpaw die as he tried to prove himself worthy of warrior status. So, Bluestar killed Swiftpaw. This isn’t much different from Leopardstar’s killing of Stonefur.
And there we, that’s the two leaders’ anti-contributions. So to summarize Part 1 and Part 2, I think that although Bluestar is usually more noticed and respected, Leopardstar is indeed as good as Bluestar in all aspects.
Yay. That’s all I have to say! Ohmigod what if this is too short? What if this hasn’t met the word count?? This has got to be the shortest article I have ever written…
But I have nothing more to say, so I’ll just… leave, I guess.
Bye!! Keep Faith!! MSLYP (May StarClan Light Your Path)!!!

Nice article! But I think Bluestar is a better leader
I don’t agree slightly. Because Leopardstar knew perfectly well what she was doing. Bluestar did not. As you said, she was in a “mad haze” She wasn’t thinking clearly.
Well, where’s the proof of Bluestar not thinking?
Great article! I still hate Leopardstar, but not as much as before.
Leopardstar was actually better than what most people think. She joined with Shadowclan for the good of her own clan. She didn’t know Tigerstar;
1. Hated half-clan cats
2. Knew that Stonefur was half-clan
If she had told Tigerstar to back off when he challenged Stonefur, it would’ve resulted in a major bloodshed for the entire clan. This is like the trolley experiment. You could kill one man and save three or kill three and save one.
Stonefur knew this and was content on being the martyr to Riverclan. Leopardstar didn’t kill anyone, Tigerstar did.

I think Bluestar was a little bit better, she didn’t really know she was killing Swiftpaw, but Leopardstar was not going crazy and could have easily prevented Stonefur from dying. But great article! ๐
Nice article ๐บ! But I think Bluestar actually didn’t mean to kill Swiftpaw, as she wasn’t in a good mode and didn’t expect Swiftpaw would go to Snakerock at all. Leopardstar, in the other hand, wanted to be powerful and joined Tigerclan, so she knew what’s going on, and could probably stop Tigerstar from killing Stonefur ๐.
Bluestar and Leopardstar both made mistakes, yes. BUT they both learned from them. ๐
Star Wars is awesome
