Darktail and His Connection with Breezepelt by Spottedspirit

Spottedspirit draws parallels between Darktail and Breezepelt. Spoilers for AVoS and Crowfeather’s Trial!

OBVIOUS SPOILERS FOR A VISION OF SHADOWS AND CROWFEATHER’S TRIAL
As we have noticed, Onestar is the father of the evil Darktail. Darktail is basically evil because of that. Onestar refused to let him into the Clan, because he feared what the rest of the Clan would think. I understand his fear, but fathering your kit is a little more important, don’t you think? Darktail’s mother, Smoke, told Darktail that the Clans were evil and cruel and Darktail believed her, since she was the only cat he trusted.
This sounds familiar, doesn’t it? That’s because the same thing happened to Breezepelt. Nightcloud told Breezepelt that his father was evil and cruel and Breezepelt believed her, since she was the only cat he trusted. However, I’m sure we can all see how this could have been avoided. It could have been avoided by better fathers and through better mothering. I say this because one reason Darktail and Breezepelt turned evil is because of their parents. I’m not saying that this cuts them any slack, I’m just saying that this is probably a good idea about how they turned evil. Nightcloud and Smoke weren’t the best moms, and Crowfeather and Onestar weren’t either. I have to say, I was disipointed to find out what a terrible leader and father Onestar was. He was actually one of my favorite characters until The Power Of Three. But, judging on how Onestar acted in Crowfeather’s Trial, I have to say that Darktail is just rude by nature (no offense).
Also, both Breezepelt and Darktail have half-siblings. Breezepelt’s are Hollyleaf, Lionblaze and Jayfeather and Darktail’s is Heathertail. Yes, you read right. Heathertail is Darktail’s half-sister. Because, Whitetail mated with Onestar and had Heathertail while Onestar went off, mated with Smoke, and had Darktail. Wow, Onestar is related to a lot of people with the -tail suffix. Either way, we know that they have that in common. However, Breezepelt is fully aware of his half-siblings while I’m not so sure that Darktail is.
One last thing. They are related through blood. Ashfoot is Onestar’s sister, and Ashfoot is Crowfeather’s mom. Crowfeather went on to father Breezepelt. So, that also means that in a creepy way, that Breezepelt is related to Heathertail. Eww…
In conclusion, we know that Darktail and Breezepelt have multiple similarities.
