Family Trees based on Proper Genetics PT.1 (Firestar) by Applemoon

Applemoon uses real-life science tolook at Firestar’s family tree.

Well, this is definitely not the first or last Warriors genetics but let’s take an advanced look at them, eh?
So using my handy dandy Cat Calculator (Thanks https://sparrows-garden.com/advanced-cat-coat-calculator/ )
We’re going to FIX Firestar’s Family tree. <3

Let’s Start with Jake and Nutmeg
Jake is a Black with the Red genome. He is non-dilute and NOT a tabby. He carries no white, so a pure ginger(red) tom.
Nutmeg is a Cinnamon with no-red. She is Non-Dilute and a Tabby(let’s say pure tabby) with little white. So a tabby with white.
Both of them have a green eye(A, aka no amber eyes) trait, therefore if neither carries an Amber gene (a) both kits will have a 100% chance of having green eyes.

Now we have our perfect kits. Firestar is now a black tom with 0-50% white, a mackerel tabby and has green eyes. Princess is a tortoiseshell mackerel tabby with 0-50% white and green eyes.

Now, ignoring the fact that Sandstorm is genetically incorrect, let’s move on.

Sandstorm: A dilute black with the RED genome. She is a tabby, carries no white and has green eyes but carries the Amber recessive trait.
Firestar: a black tom with 0-50% white, a mackerel tabby and has green eyes

Squirrelflight: Mackerel tabby tortoiseshell with green eyes but carrying the Amber Recessive Trait. 0-50% white.
Leafpool: Same as Squirrelflight. However, let’s say no white.

Now, I’ll do Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight followed by Leafpool and Crowfeather. Both males in their listed form, even though it may be genetically incorrect.

Brambleclaw: A brown tabby tom with 0% white, Amber eyes (aa), he is chocolate, non-dilute, and mackerel tabby.
Squirrelflight: Mackerel tabby tortoiseshell with green eyes but carrying the Amber Recessive Trait. 0-50% white.
[KITS] Alderheart: Red(Ginger) Mackerel tabby with Green eyes. Carries Amber Trait (Aa). 0% white and non-dilute.
Sparkpelt: Black mackerel tabby with amber eyes. 25% white and non-dilute.

Leafpool: Mackerel tabby tortoiseshell with green eyes but carrying the Amber Recessive Trait. 0% white.
Crowfeather: Dilute black with blue eyes. Doesn’t carry amber-recessive trait and 0% white.
[Kits] Hollyleaf: Dilute Tortie with Green eyes. 0% white mackerel tabby.
Lionblaze: Dilute red (Cream) with green eyes mackerel tabby. 0% white.
Jayfeather: Black with red Genome. Green eyes as it is IMPOSSIBLE for pure blacks to have blue eyes. 0% white mackerel tabby.

[AFTER NOTE] phew, that changes a lot, also college student reading level aye
anyways,
Which family tree should I do next?
Do you think that this would change much or, does this totally mess up everything?

Nice job! However, eye color genetics are not that simple. They are still being studied and researched and are highly just theory. All of the eye color genes in this article are all fake and made up. There is no set gene for amber or green eyes and neither is recessive nor dominant.
