I NEED TO BE ELECTED but can i ask you a question? when is the next picking for new mods going to be?
Mods aren’t elected ^^ We hand-pick new mods from people who apply during the application period. BlogTeam opens applications whenever we feel like we need more mods. Considering that we got a bunch of new mods last year, we likely will not be opening applications for at least a few years 🙂
When is this going to be opened? Like when do you think? I thought KAt and a few other mods werent working IM bugging, I know, but i have to be a mod. MY LIFE IS NOT COMPLETE WITHOUTTTTTTT PLZZZ😢🥺

I’m going to make a couple things clear:
1. BlogTeam currently does not feel that we need one or more new mods, so we are not looking for another mod to join the team.
2. If we were looking for another mod to join the team, we would’ve looked at the applications that were sent in during the last application period.
3. One of the requirements of being a mod is that you must have been on the blog for at least a year to be eligible. As far as we can tell, you joined the blog within the past few months, so you currently are not eligible to apply to become a mod.
4. Asking us over and over again if you can be a mod is not going to change our minds anytime soon. If anything, it shows us that you’re not ready to become a mod, even if you were eligible, because it demonstrates a lack of patience. The mods, whether we personally like it or not, are role models for the blog, so we try to promote as many good traits and behaviours as possible, and impatience isn’t one of those.
5. At the rate that you’re commenting these questions, we’re going to start considering these mod-related comments as spam, which is when we will have to start deleting some of your comments.
As we’ve said many times by now, we’re not going to add another mod to the team at this time, but you are welcome to apply to become a mod during the next application period, Pepper 🙂

I can’t see why anyone’s warrior name would be a barrier to them being chosen as a mod. 🙂
We choose mods based on who we think will be best suited to the role, not their names.
