New policy regarding identities

BlogClan has a new rule about multiple identities. Please read!

Hello 🙂

BlogClan prides itself on being a safe, friendly, and welcoming space for everyone. To keep a happy place, we have a new policy about multiple identities/commenting under different names.

BlogClan’s Account and Comment Identity Policy

Users are to have only one (1) identity/alias/persona. Comments that are made by users that are suspected of being an alternate identity will be deleted.

In other words, be whoever you want to be, but do it one fursona at a time.

And for all you game-players out there, yes, this does include “Guess the BlogClanner” accounts. To ensure blog harmony (henceforth known as blarmony), these games are no longer allowed.

It doesn’t, however, mean that you can’t change your fursona! You by all means can continue changing your name or appearance on the blog. What we’re hoping to avoid is the same person commenting under different names, which can lead to some sticky situations.

Thank you and have a good time chatting 🙂

Question: What if you change your name to something like a joke (Like I once did on April Fool’s day), but you make sure you. . . give hints to who you really are or something (Like, in your siggie (I think that’s how you spell it 😛 ))? Hopefully this makes sense! 🙂

No, that counts as “Guess the BlogClanner.”

Would it count if everyone knew who I was, my name was just different? Like, not me trying to be a different person than I already am. Sorry 😛

Like, just creating a nickname as your name? Like how mine is currently Embers on a Spring Dawn? If so, then it’s okay 🙂

You’re totally allowed to change your name!! This policy is more about pretending to be multiple different people. If you explain that you’ve just changed your name, you should be good!
