Princess’s Gift by Shadowcloud

Shadowclaw talks about Cloudtail, Princess’s gift to the series.

Heyo It’s Shadowcloud, and I am going to be discussing Princesses gift to the clans (Cloudtail). Let us begin.
Princess is obviously the type of queen that would be protective over her kit (all queens are but,) Why would Princess give Cloudtail away? Well there could be a various amount of explanations to that question. Princess was very confident, in Fire and Ice, that Fireheart (at the time) would take care of her kit, she respected Fireheart and saw how he loved the clans and the forest, she understood why he decided to leave his kitty pet life,and she wanted her kit to experience this way of life Fireheart was living. She was very giving, kind, and sure about it too, Princess really thought she was blessing the clans and not causing her kit or Fireheart any trouble. If Princess hadn’t been so generous the story (plot) would have been affected greatly. For example without Cloudtail, Swiftpaw would still be alive and would have become Brightheart’s mate (also Brightheart would have not been injured) therefor,no Whitewing, which means no Dovewing or Ivypool and so on for all the descendants after them. So Princesses decision to give Cloudtail to the clans made almost the whole of the Warriors series, Cloudtail may not be a spotlight character, but he is indeed very important.. This all goes back to the decision Princess made, or even farther, if Fireheart had stopped visiting her.
Now another reason Princess could have give her kit away could be she wanted Fireheart to take Cloudtail and, as far as she new, stay close, while if she kept him there would be a chance a Twoleg would take him somewhere where she couldn’t visit, At least one of her kits would be close without a doubt (again, as far as she new, the clans weren’t going to move). So now you know the importance of Princess and Cloudtail, if you already didn’t. I hope you understand how generous Princess was. Thanks for reading.
