10. Cinderpelt and Firestar

Wow I hate this ship. This wouldn’t even be ON the list if I could think of more than 10 forbidden romances. This wouldn’t have been ruled out except for the fact that she had to become a medicine cat, but anyways, they show no love for each other in the books, and I- just- no. It was after she died that she said she “loved” Firestar. What? No, that is all. No hate on Cinderpelt, just the horrible, StarClan-cursed ship.

9. Spottedleaf and Firestar

I hate this one too. They hardly interacted when she was alive because he was a very new apprentice, and when they did it was medicine cat business. I understand they formed a deeper relationship when she walked in his dreams, but it was NOT the same and the fact that Firestar thought he might love her more than Sandstorm is absurd. I know it’s not my feelings- or anyone’s for that matter- but still.

8. Yellowfang and Raggedstar

Okay, this couple was cute and all, but I didn’t like the way Raggedstar treated his mate when she was basically forced to become a medicine cat. I know it was out of love and he was angry that she was giving up on them, but if he loved her that much he should have supported her, even if it was by just being a friend. He was a bit too aggressive towards her in my opinion, but overall I still thought they were a fairly good ship.

7. Crowfeather and Feathertail

These two were really cute, but it didn’t seem like the type of relationship that would last. I feel like if they both returned to their Clans, they would just choose to go their separate ways and walk away, even if they loved each other, I don’t think it was enough.

6. Lionpaw(blaze) and Heatherpaw(tail)

I actually thought this ship was so well developed and written and was really sad when it ended so badly. They were both just trying to have fun, away from rules and responsibilities, that it eventually grew into something more. Of course, it was more of a “middle-school crush” thing though.

5. Stormfur and Brook

This isn’t necessarily forbidden, but in a way it was. I loved how hard Brook tried to make Stormfur feel welcome in the tribe and how she stuck with him when he was banished. She never left his side, and they went on to have kits. This is one of the only forbidden love stories where the two end up together forever.

4. Tigerstar and Dovewing

I thought this ship was also well developed and doesn’t deserve the amount of hate it’s gotten. Yes, they’ve both made mistakes and left each other, but they found their way back and forged a strong love. Tigerstar would do anything to protect her, and she even left her Clan that she loves to be with him. If that’s not love then I don’t know what is.

3. Bluestar and Oakheart

The one thing I don’t like about this couple is that they didn’t have much development. However, that night we see them bond is one of my favorite scenes I’ve ever read. They really didn’t have a care in the world and were just living life. I really admired that, and was sad when it ended. However, if I am right they are confirmed to be mates in StarClan.

2. Graystripe and Silverstream

I love Graystripe and Silverstream because of how she saved him from the river, and how hard he tried to repay her, while developing a great relationship. His grief when she died was hard to read, but it was nice knowing he loved her so much. I wished they would end up together in StarClan as she always says she’ll wait for him, but I think he will be with Millie. (Who is also a great character.)

And drum roll please…

1. Crowfeather and Leafpool

This is my favorite ship of all time. The reason I love this ship is because Leafpool really helped Crowfeather get over his grief of Feathertail, but it wasn’t as though she was second best. He still loved her fiercely, and I felt like they had a great connection. She also matched his hard headed, stubborn persona with her sweet and kind spirit. They leveled out good. I honestly can’t describe how much I love this ship.
