Welcome back, BlogClanners! Today is the fourth and final day of the Deputy hustings! Applications are closed!

Candidates may use the comments below as a space to put their campaign, and the amazing members of BlogClan can use the comments as a space to ask questions, such as: why do you want this position? What are some good qualities you have? What are your flaws?

Responsible, creative, practical

I have served as the deputy of BlogClan for a few years now. I do not believe I deserve the position only because I have held it before, much as I want to continue as deputy. I know I have not been very active for the past several months, and many of the newest members may not even know me. But BlogClan has been a large and very special part of my life for a long time now. I joined in high school, and established the BlogClan Allegiances soon after. The summer of my freshman year of college, I was made a mod for the site, and have continued to be one ever since, though admittedly not as actively so in recent months. Being on this website has brought me friends I wouldn’t have otherwise made, has helped me discover opportunities I might never have known. BlogClan is such a unique community. In an online world where anonymity allows people to lash out at each other with little consequence, BlogClan is a rare haven of encouragement, civil discussion, and an overall atmosphere of friendliness and acceptance. As many of the online communities I am a part of have grown more rife with drama, BlogClan has always been somewhere safe and comforting to turn to. I would very much like to return to spending more of my time on this website, and I believe I can help BlogClan continue to be a friendly and accepting community by helping greet new members and introduce them to the blog, and by helping smooth out any disputes that might arise.

Hey, I’m Juni! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ When I found this site way back in (late) March 2015, I learned that BlogClan was different from other sites that I’ve seen- everyone was super welcoming and helpful to those who don’t know much about the series or were newer. So, after around three months, I decided to join, and still saw kindness all around the blog. I feel like this site has changed me not because I feel like I’ve matured a little bit, but because I became more open to socializing with strangers thousands of miles away from me. After being on the site for four years, I’ve decided to be deputy because I want the chance to interact with and help the newer folks more, especially since the blog is growing relatively quickly. To add on, (though this isn’t really blog related), I’ve minorly contributed to the wikia by hosting wikia gatherings and helping with the roleplay, and I give out advice whenever I can.

Being deputy would be a tremendous honour. 😁 I love BlogClan, and I have ever since I joined. It is a home to me, a safe haven among the chaos of the internet. There are so many people that I interact with and can form a bond with here; you are my second family. To repay everybody for doing so much for me, and to repay the Blog for being my own little wonderland, I would like to be Deputy. I have been here for four years—my Clanniversary is coming right during Elections—and have enjoyed every minute of it. There have been ups and downs, obviously; I didn’t always behave perfectly and might have broken some rules. But I have learned from my mistakes and they only pushed me further to dedicate myself to the Blog. Becoming a member of BlogTeam deep end my connection with this website. I can finally have a say in the events that happen, and I get an even more personal look at the people who come by. I have done a lot for the Blog, but I don’t believe that makes me more righteous than any of these other spectacular candidates! You are all so amazing. 🥰 I want to be Deputy because it would be so nice to have a fancy title after years of dedication and passion, but also just give something back to this place. I am not planning to become inactive anytime soon. I plan to keep on commenting and engaging and running the Blog smoothly. I could not have done this without any of you, so I am unimaginably grateful for this opportunity. I won’t be jealous if I don’t get it, but it would sure be a nice title. I feel that I deserve it, but that’s up to you guys. 😀 Thank you, my friends. 🧡
