Elections, Day 5: Voting Begins!

Things are heating up in today’s edition of the 2019 BlogClan Elections, where you get to choose our final candidates in the first round of voting!

Hello and welcome to the first round of voting for the 2019 BlogClan Elections! In case you missed it, BlogClan is holding elections to find out who our next Medicine Cat and Deputy will be. Both are incredibly important positions, and we entrust all of the members of BlogClan to choose who they believe will be the best people for the job.

We have a lot of great candidates running this year. We’re so lucky to have such an amazing group of people to choose from, and each and every one of them deserve special positions. However, only one Deputy and one Medicine Cat will be chosen in the end.

From now until July 9th, in which voting will close at 11:59pm UTC, you have the opportunity to vote for up to three candidates for each position that you believe deserve the role of Deputy and Medicine Cat. The purpose of this round of voting is to narrow down our choices to three finalists to choose from in the final round, which will be held on July 10th.

You must have been a part of the blog for at least one month in order to vote. You may not vote for the same person multiple times. We have a nifty IP address tracker that prevents you from doing just that, but for the sake of good ol’ honesty and righteousness, don’t even try it. We can catch any cheating…

Vote wisely! The purpose of the hustings, which have been held over the past few days, has been for you to become acquainted with our candidates and to get a feel of who you believe deserves the position. You can check back on the original 2019 BlogClan Election post to see what the qualities of the two positions are, and from there you can decide who you believe embodies those qualities. Please don’t just vote for your friends. Vote for who you truly believe deserves the position. You only have three votes for each – make them count!

I’d like to congratulate each and every one of the candidates. You’ve done an amazing job this past week, and I have no doubt that any of you would make an amazing Medicine Cat or Deputy. You’re all truly extraordinary members of the blog, and BlogClan wouldn’t be the same without any one of you. Regardless of the outcome of this election, you should all be proud of yourselves.
