Reverse BlogClanner In The Spotlight: Winterwhisper

In this month’s edition of BITS, things are a bit different…

Welcome, welcome. Yes, you read that title right. This month we are trying something new, just for fun! Our Medicine Cat, Iceflower, is going to interview me, rather than me finding a candidate and asking them questions. The roles are reversed! Next month, everything will return back to normal, but I jut thought this would be a fun experiment. Iceflower was in total control of the questions, but I made this post. Without further ado, let’s begin.

Q: Who is your favourite Warrriors character and why? 🐈🐱

A: I’m not sure I have a single favourite. I can list a few and the reasons why: Jayfeather, because he was unlike any other character and wasn’t always perfect (I love antiheroes); Ebonyclaw, because there’s just something about her, a quiet kind of grace, that I loved; Clear Sky, because he was such a developed and dynamic character—I didn’t necessarily like him, but I was fascinated by him; Needletail, she was also an interesting antihero. There are others, but these are just some to come to mind. I get bored of characters like Firestar and Lionblaze. I find that they can be a bit one-dimensional and too perfect. Characters with flaws and shifting personalities always intrigue me.

Q: What do you think of garden gnomes?

A: Not a fan. But Gnomeo and Juliet is ICONIC.

Q: Favourite Warriors book? What about a non-Warriors favourite? 📚

A: My favourite Warriors book is probably Thunder and Shadow, but I also love The Last Hope, the entire DOTC arc, Bluestar’s Prophecy, Crookedstar’s Promise, Yellowfang’s Secret, and Tallstar’s Revenge.

I have a few non-Warriors favourites, including but not limited to: The Hate U Give, Salt to the Sea, Gemini, A Very Large Expanse Of Sea, The Sun is Also a Star, We Are The Ants, and Living Dead Girl.

Q: What’s your favourite thing about BlogClan? Any particular favourite moments you’ve had here?

A: My favourite thing is the positivity and acceptance in BlogClan. I feel like those are qualities the world and the internet are lacking nowadays. Not everything is terrible all the time, and if we all just appreciate one another, we can get through any bad moments.

There are so many memories of BlogClan—it’s been four years, after all—so I can’t name just one. But I have such fond memories of wiki chat, DeadWint blowing it up, the Roleplays, etc. And here on the Blog, I remember the Elections distinctly and the 2015 Gathering. Also, the transition from the old Blog to the new Blog was so shocking yet sentimental. There have been many amazing friends who have come and gone. I don’t know. There’s just so many warm and wonderful memories. Someday I should write them all down.

Q: If you were an animal, what would you be?

A: Probably a cat, which I’m totally okay with! 😛They’re my favourite animals besides foxes.

Q: When did you start reading Warriors?

A: I don’t remember exactly, but I might have been around 11 or 12. I was looking for new book series to read, and I found one called Seekers. I bought the first few books and read them. They were fine. I wanted to like the more than I did. I was going to buy the rest in the series when we went back to the bookstore, but then my mother suggested this other one called Warriors. I was so uncooperative and narrow-minded at first. I kept saying I’d hate it and that it wouldn’t be as good. I reluctantly let her buy me The Ultimate Guide and the first book, Into The Wild. I took them home. I read them. I absolutely fell in love, forgetting all my hesitation. And the rest is history.

Q: Favourite kind of tea?

A: My favourite flavour of tea is Cream of Earl Grey/Earl Grey Cream, but my favourite kind of tea is black tea, usually flavoured but also just plain breakfast. I also enjoy green.

Q: Why did you choose the name Winterwhisper? ❄️🌨🌫

A: As many of you might know, I was originally Winterbreeze. When I first started reading Warriors, I made a fanfic with four main characters. I don’t remember all the names, but I know for sure that one was Winterbreeze. I don’t know why that name came to mind or why I was so fixated on it, but I used it for everything and it just loved being called Winter. So, when I first commented after stalking the Blog for a few months, I threw in the first Warrior name could think of—Winterpaw. Eventually, after I ended my term as MCA, I had a change of heart. I wanted a slightly different suffix to signify how I’ve grown and changed as a person. I needed to keep Winter-, because that will forever be my Warrior name, but I felt like -whisper was such an interesting contrast and it sounded so pretty.

Q: Bonus question! Who would win in a fight, you or me? Be honest. 😉 🤼‍♂️

A: Meeeeeeee. #1, I am older, taller, stronger, and probably double your weight; #2, I know you well enough to use your worst weaknesses, but same goes for you against me; #3, I am a lot more vicious than you when I have to be. You’re too sweet and innocent to hurt me. And my ambition is limitless, plus I never give up until I get what I want 😛; #4 You’re going into the medical field, so you just want to help and save people. You’ll be your own downfall!! MUAHAHAHA 😈😈

Thanks for reading! I hope you guys enjoyed this reverse interview. I had a ton of fun doing it. Major thanks go to Icy for providing the questions! 😃 See y’all soon! 💛💙💚
