POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOR VEIL OF SHADOWS AND A WARRIOR’S SPIRIT! Hey everyone! On the official Warriors website, on the book list they‘ve added Veil of Shadows and A Warrior’s Spirit even though they haven’t been released yet, with quotes as well. The VOS quote is “That cat won’t ruin my plans again…and neither will you” and the quote for A Warrior’s Spirit is : “I don’t need a sign to know that trouble is coming”
I think that latter quote might be from Mothwing’s Secret.
Oh, i think VOS quote might be a Imposter’s words about Shadowsight to his next victim O_o

Preview for Pebbleshine’s Kits has been released on the official site! It’s 3 whole chapters.
The iBooks sample says Cherith wrote this, yay! Color me excited. There are 9 chapters in Pebbleshine’s Kits, 10 in Tree’s Roots, and 9 in Mothwing’s Secret. I’m glad the one I’m most hyped about is the longest. 🙂
My thoughts on the preview:
Poor Pebbleshine! I’m not surprised at all it starts out with her being captured, I always figured that would be the first scene. When you risk everything for a little bit of chicken. RIP. It’s sad that she promises to find her way back to Hawkwing when we all know what happens to her. The bit with the cat and dog being friends is so adorable! I’ve wanted to see that in this series forever. Bug and Bunny, lol. I wonder if Cherith is a Loony Tunes fan, and that’s a wink at the character. Bug is such a nice cat. Pebbleshine should’ve stayed a bit longer with them, since she never found her Clan anyway. At least until her kits were born and ready to travel. Wow, things are happening fast- in Chapter 3 she’s already ready to give birth to her kits! It makes me think that the novella will extend past her death, and show her wandering as a ghost, looking after her kits. This novella is going to be really sad.
Hey guys! Some news I have seen over the past few days. The seventh novella set is confirmed to be called A Warrior’s Choice! As always, it will contain three novellas about Daisy, Blackstar, and Spotfur, and the novellas are titled Daisy’s Kin, Blackfoot’s Reckoning, and Spotfur’s Rebellion.

Hey Kate, I’m curious, there’s always been a “fourth” cat on the novella set book covers looking at their surroundings, they’re even on the side of each arc when you put the reprinted books together in order, so I’ve been wondering, do you know who they are? I’m guessing that Stemleaf is the cat in this cover

Some spoiler quotes were released on the website today (WARNING SPOILERS)! They are as follows:
“Sometimes it’s better to accept what’s happened to you and just get on with living your life, even if it’s not what you wanted.” I believe this is Mothwing in Mothwing’s Secret.
“I’ll take care of you. And you’ll see, [our Clan] will thank us in the end. Our home will always be safe.” I think is is Pebbleshine speaking to her kits in Pebbleshine’s Kits, though at the same time I think it’s Mothwing speaking to someone in Mothwing’s Secret.
“You’d better get the land back on your side before you go on your wander!” I think this is Moonlight speaking to Earth/Tree in Tree’s Roots.
“For a moment, resentment snagged like a claw on her heart.” I wonder if this is Pebbleshine resenting the fact she’s lost, or Mothwing resenting the fact her Clanmates believe in StarClan while she doesn’t.
What do you think?

Our home will always be safe.” At first I thought this was Hawkfrost talking to Mothwing when Sasha leaves them in Riverclan but i’m not really sure about that anymore or what part of Mothwings life it will cover i’m guessing when she first becomes a medicine cat and she stops believing in Starclan

Mothwing’s Secret was SO GOOD YOU GUYS!! Tree’s Roots was also amazing too and almost made me cry. Haven’t read Pebbleshine’s Kits yet but OH BOY these novellas are great.
Tree’s Roots was by far my favorite of this set. So Tree named Rootspring after his father, Root? That’s sweet, having Needleclaw also named after Needletail.
I think the cat on the cover ( Not Tree, Pebbleshine or Mothwing of course) might be a cat named Root! He’s been in a area similar to the cover so it could work!
Hey Kate, in Mothwing’s Secret why wasn’t Reedwhisker confirmed to be Duskfur’s mate and Curlkit and Podkit’s father, since they all showed up in the book?
Probably because it’s hard to keep track of all of our characters lives all the time. Sometimes we forget to mention the obvious.
Tree’s Roots is definitely my favourite story of the three: really interesting to see the sisters through a tom’s eyes. It was great that Tree got to know his father, even if it was only for a short time.
Also loved Pebbleshine’s kits: what a courageous and determined cat she was. I really enjoyed that the two stories linked, hearing both sides about Tree’s and Pebble’ meeting. Just sad that he did not stay with her for a while, she probably would not have died…
There was nothing much new about Mothwing unfortunately. I was hoping to get some hint on what important role she will play in the Brokem Code. So if it is my guess I would think she becomes an important mediator when the clans think about maybe changing parts of the worrior code. Just guessing though…
