I’m so excited for this book! Eee! We probably can see what happened with Millie, and maybe we can see if Stormfur’s okay! And since this book takes place somewhere around The Broken Code, what if Graystripe dies at the end of this book and we see him entering StarClan and seeing his deceased kin/friends? I would honestly cry of sadness/happiness at that.. but we’ll have to see!
Ooh or maybe his death leads to a major clue about what is going on with StarClan? Just an idea but it would be cool to see that happen.

I hope Graystripe can die bravely because he is a great character, and if the Erins do this, then this is probably the best book.

Oh ya…. it is very exciting to see an elder’s point of view! Maybe he could relate some things to the first series or something! That would be cool!
Honestly I’m on the fence about this because 1) I feel like there are more characters that are more deserving of an SE than Graystripe and 2) I don’t like Graystripe much to begin with ngl. I’ll hold off on judging it too much in the meanwhile, but I really feel that atm it could probably work as a novella.
But seeing as this takes place during TBC, there really shouldn’t be too much of a doubt that this is a major death flag for him seeing as he’s an elder and one of the few remaining cats from the first series. He’s highly likely going to die in this book and I will be surprised if he doesn’t.
In defense of Graystripe, he’s actually one of the most deserving characters to get an SE. He spent years doing a ton of work to get back to his clan after being captured by the twolegs. He didn’t complain and actually agreed with Firestar when Brambleclaw remained deputy after he returned. All his friends are dead, and he still manages to contribute in the way that elders do. He’s also suffered a lot of losses. Silverstream, Feathertail, Stormfur leaving, Briarlight. I’m not saying that there aren’t other deserving cats as well, but Graystripe has earned this.
Graystripe still doesn’t need an SE. He’s had enough screen time as it is, and there are definitely more deserving characters of an SE than him. A novella would likely suit him better. Honestly at this point I’m starting to believe that people who want a Graystripe SE are biased because it’s Graystripe. I don’t see Brackenfur getting an SE. I don’t see Cloudtail getting an SE. And I don’t see Brightheart getting an SE. Yet people insist he’s worthy of an SE. Just because he deserves it (which is just your opinion), it doesn’t mean he needs it.
I love Graystripe
Just there are others that could have a SE
But I guess the erin s had to find a way to kill off th e last of an era
