My top five favorite cats and why by Moonpaw

Hey Blogclanners! Today I’m going to share a list of my favorite cats in Warriors and why. (Spoilers for AVOS)

Jayfeather
Jayfeather is my favorite cat, because he can be calm, but isn’t afraid to put an annoying cat in their place. In OOTS, he seemed like just a grumpy blind medicine cat, however, in AVOS, it is revealed that he actually cared very much about his apprentice, Alderheart, and got worried when Jayfeather thought he was falling for Velvet.
2. Dovewing and Ivypool
Ok Blogclan, hear me out. From this point on the list is in no particular order btw. So, I like both Dovewing and Ivypool. Here’s why:
Why I like Ivypool: Ivypool is a very interesting character, and she has some rough times, for instance, when she was visiting the Dark Forest, but she handled this as well as any other new apprentice. She was also (eventually) able to realize her mistakes, and switched reasons for visiting them, and remained loyal to Thunderclan the whole time. Why I like Dovewing: Dovewing is far from a Mary-Sue. She always imagined her and Ivypool would do everything together, but then Ivypool, then Ivypaw, started resenting her for always being the one getting praise. Then, she found out she had strange powers no one else had, so of course she was freaked out! Yet, once she got over this, she was able to live like a normal cat. Now the whole DovexBumble vs DovexTiger (DovexRippletail??? Anyone?) thing. I think Dovewing was right to take Tigerstar(heart) as a mate, because to me, her clan seemed to be pressuring her to be with Bumblestripe, who she wouldn’t have been happy with. I don’t, however think she should have left Thunderclan to go to Shadowclan. (Yeesh maybe this should just be called “ I tried making peace between Team Ivy and Team Dove”)
3. Tallstar
I’m almost done reading Tallstar’s Revenge and I have a newfound respect for this cat. Windclan just didn’t seem to get him. He was born a tunnler, but wanted to be a moor runner. And yet, even after Hailstar made him a moor runner, his clan continued to scold him for seemingly everything. It really reminded me of my own life at home with my parents sometimes. *Moon sees her mom walking up to her* my parents are great other times! I just love how he feels like he doesn’t belong anywhere and no one wants him around, but then he meets Jake! Also I think Shrewclaw and Tallstar could have been friends if Shrewclaw hadn’t teased him so much as an apprentice, although they seem friendlier with each other when Tallstar becomes leader, and its more playful teasing than hurtful teasing at that point.
4. Graystripe
I think he’s just really funny sometimes, like how he keeps insisting that he just has long fur, not that he’s fat. I liked him a lot more in the first series though, because I feel like after that arch, he just seems like any other side character, and looses his fun personality. He is very loyal cat, to both his friends and family.
5. Hollyleaf
Hollyleaf was one of the very very rare Thunderclan cats who actually cared about the code above all in the end, although just like plenty of others, did break it. I love her story, because many of the main characters are code breakers at some point, Firestar, Leafpool, Yellowfang, Dovewing, Lionblaze, Jayfeather, the list goes on. And, a lot of these cats have very over-used plot lines. *cough*forbidden love*cough* However, Hollyleaf’s plot hasn’t been used before. It was interesting to see a new type of cat, and I loved her personality. (Aaaalso HollyxFallen is like one of my favorite ships along with JayxHalf!)
