Many clues point to it being Ashfur. I’m just confused as to how Mothwing and Twigbranch play into it. Can anyone link them to Ashfur? Perhaps Mothwing through Hawkfrost, but how about Twigbranch?

Hello! I just have something to say on Icewing. She is a cat that doesn’t get attention when she DESERVES it. Just a couple of reasons include…
-She trained in the dark forest but fought with the clans
-She was a prisoner to Darktail and his Kin
-She is a part of the rebels and is one of the few (if not the only) rebel from Riverclan
I think she would make an interesting character if they started doing more with her.

I love Icewing as well! She’s probably my favorite cat in Riverclan and I hope we here more about her and Harelight since they both got cast out. I also want to hear more of background characters more because even in Thunderclan I feel like we haven’t heard much of any because I feel like they get one line per book now and even tho I like the main characters it would be nice to hear the perspective of some background characters as well.

Agreed, they should have a new ultimate guide now. I only know 4 cats from riverclan (mistystar (i will be very sad when she dies, she is awesome), reedsomething all i know is that he almost drowned and that he is mistystar’s son (can someone tell me who his father is) mothwing and willowshine). I checked warriors wiki for his father but it says its unknown.
Mistystar’s mate is Blackclaw.
I don’t know what she saw in him.
Reedwhisker is Mistystar’s son. As for her mate, it’s Blackclaw.

I don’t think it’s Ashfur because fakestar is probably dark forest I mean they blocked of starclan then took advantage how could starclan come to possess bramblestar if there blocked off and the blockage is from the dark forest not from starclan. The bramblefake is dark forest. Ashfur would know about the sisters because he looks down from starclan and he can because starclan only can’t speak to them. I think it’s thistleclaw (if his spirit survived i don’t remember) the bramblefake dude is in to war and killing just like tigerclaws mentor the savage THISTLECLAW bramblefake targeting half clans and codebrakers doesn’t mean he has something against them he just wants cats to suffer the only thing he has something against is thunderclan or he would choose another clan. I disagree politely because
A. The imposter was said to have blue eyes (Ashboy has blue eyes)
B. The Dark Forest is partly dead
C. Bramblefake is lovey-dovey with Squirrelflight…
D. It’s a Controversial character!
E. At the end of Veil of Shadows, the bramblefake states that he came back for Squirrelflight… the only cats who liked Squirrelflight were Stormfur, Bramblestar, and Ashfur
F. Shadowsight got a vision of a fire and ash falling on his fur (Ash-fur, get it?)
and plus, we already got the dark forest in Omen of the Stars. It would be kinda boring! I mean, it be cool if they were helping Bramblefake but I don’t want a dark forest cat as the Imposter!
Its very possible bc thistleclaw has blue eyes but squirrel flight didn’t really know him personally so how could she have recognized the voice? but ashfur had a love affair with her and he had blue eyes its not stormfur bc he wouldn’t have hurt Graystripe plus he has yellow eyes and I agree with how fire and ASH were raining on his fur and but what does ashfur have to do with dovewing? I understand jayfeather and lionblaze bc of hollyleaf like a revenge thing but why dovewing?? plus in the first book they said tree and ashfur didn’t even know tree. so its very possible it could be like a character in the back that we didn’t really notice. but idk why and who trapped bramblestar and starclan maybe like another backstory character that we don’t know much about. also how does ashfur know twigbranch?? that’s what I have to say for know so yeah

Um ok FIRE and ash so if it’s ashfur there’s some one working with him starclan is blocked so how would they send a vision and I don’t remember that part so my apologies

We don’t need the erins at this point to tell us who’s on The Place Of No Stars’s cover. We all know now since Darkness Within released and told us who the impostor is that Ashfur is the big cat head on The Place Of No Stars cover.

That makes sense but I still think it’s Ashfur jist cause
1. The ash and fire thing
2. Blue eyes
3. Shadowsight saw the imposter but couldn’t see its fur color and I feel like that was just so it would be less obvious
4. He loves Squirrelflight
5. He doesn’t know the territories or SkyClan
6. He tried to kill four cats before
7. He seems to hate ThunderClan and the first cat he tried to kill was Squirrelflights daughter and banned half of her family. Even Twigbranch was close to her son so she’s like a niece and then you have all of her kits
The allegiances of Darkness Within are going to be interesting.

like she has to die at some point, no one gave her the life of immortality.
But why does she have to die now?
Also, Reedwhisker’s also pretty old. He was born in Fire and Ice, I think.
Maybe both of them will die and Mothwing and Willowshine will take over until they choose a new leader, like Redscar.
Graystripe is probably going to die he lived the longest in all warriors think he was an apprentice in the first book and he lives to the last so far
Yeah he is like the oldest cat in the clans. I hope his death is peaceful. Graystripe deserves a good death he’s a good cat.

hi kate! i have a question, i recently read a warriors spirit (it was great!) and i found out that tree’s father’s name was root, did tree name rootspring after him or was it just coincidence, personally i think it was after his father’s name because they seem to have a strong connection after he leaves the sisters… also i just wanted to tell you in mothwing’s secret, page 272, near the bottom of the page it says
“of course” firestar glanced at his clanmates. In response squirrelflight and bramblestar moved towards the camp entrance” you wrote bramblestar where it should have been brambleclaw. i found it funny but i dont think you were the author of it..? i think it was clarrisa hutton…? anyway i LOVE your books! keep up the good work

Hey Kate, I was just wondering, I had finished dawn of the clans a couple months ago and I always wondered did you always intend for falling Feather and Jackdaws Cry to kill each other or was it a last minute thing, I’ve just always wondered this since there siblings. And can we have another drizzle, there was one in dawn of the clans but we haven’t had one since.
We do need another Drizzle! And I’m not sure whether anything in Warriors was always intended. The plots just seem to unfold as we go along.
So many pointing to Ashfur.
-Chose Bramblestar to possess- Because he Squirrelflight’s mate
-Tried to kill Sparkpelt- Because she Bramblestar’s daughter
-Exiled Jayfeather and Lionblaze- Cause they were the fake children
Oh my stars There are so many more!
Also he was murdered by Hollyleaf, so it stands to reason he’d still have a grudge against them
