The most wrong Warriors names I can think of by Lightningkit

Lightningkit shares some strange names from the series.

There a lot of cats with weird names and I am going to name a few.

Deadfoot:
How can you call a cat Deadfoot?!! That’s rude and offensive and makes it apparent that the cat is lame in one foot.

Runningnose:
So this one’s funny, but also weird. It basically gives the impression that Runningnose has a permanent cold. Really, Yellowfang? I guess it’s a good reminder medicats can’t cure everything.

Hollowbelly:
This cat is glutton. Seriously. Or it has no stomach or something like that.

Loudbelly:
Honestly. This cat is another glutton. And it’s always complaining that they’re hungry. Whoever named Hollowbelly and Loudbelly really needs a list of names that aren’t so weird.

Harrybrook:
I’m guessing this is a used-to-be-kitty pet cat. Really. How can you just add ‘brook’ to the prefix ‘Harry’? Next time give the cat a different prefix.

Billystorm:
Same as Harrybrook. DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. How can that work?

Foxheart:
That is an offensive name. Seriously Cedarstar? Is Foxheart really a fox-heart? I don’t think any cat deserves that horrible name.

Twigbranch:
What?? A twig and a branch are literally the exact same thing. I get the excuse but seriously? You could call a cat Bramblethorn or Dapplespot and it just DOESN’T MAKE SENSE.

Crookedjaw:
Rainflower is the most fox-hearted mother to ever have existed in the Warrior Cats universe. Why? She was all over Stormkit, calling him things like ‘My handsome little warrior,’ until he fell and broke his jaw, when she went all hate on him, changing his name to Crookedkit without asking and going off with his brother, Oakkit and calling Oakkit her ‘handsome little warrior,’! She completely abandoned him when he needed her love, not hatred most.

Clawface:
He has claws in his face. Seriously. REALLY? What was wrong with Raggedstar? It’s horrible to name a cat Clawkit, but Clawface?

Lostface:
Yes, Brightheart did have her face practically destroyed by vicious dogs which were used by Tigerstar (TPB), but, Bluestar, no need to turn on StarClan and to rub it in! Brightpaw had suffered enough already, so don’t make it worse! Those dogs could have killed her like they did Swiftpaw!

I’m done with the rant. There. Over. I hope you liked it and if you don’t agree you can your own opinion and post it in the comments down below!

Lightningkit out. 😉
Byeeee!

  • Hi Lightningkit. Aside from Twigbranch, whose name I don’t mind, I agree that all these names are bad. Especially Foxheart. That name is a insult. Another bad name is Mousewing from ShadowClan. Mice don’t even HAVE wings!

    • Though I agree with the Foxheart thing, I disagree with the Mousewing. Warriors names aren’t meant to make sense. Brightheart doesn’t have a glowing heart, and Cloudtail’s tail isn’t made of clouds. Sunstar wasn’t the sun itself, and Dawnpelt’s pelt wasn’t made of dawn. Tigerclaw/star wasn’t a literal tiger.

    • Mousewing isn’t as bad as Echosnout. CATS. DO. NOT. HAVE. SNOUTS. And you don’t put a prefix as pretty as Echo- in front of -snout. WHY?!

  • I’m sorry but I’m going to disagree with you about most of those 🙂
First, I do not think the name Foxheart was given as an insult. The Prefix ‘heart” is usually given to a cats with great courage, bravery or nobility then most.
As for the names Harrybrook, and Billystorm, I think those are nice names that flow well together-and not liking the Warriors that bear them simply because you don’t like their name is, if you ask me, fox-hearted and stupid.
Now, in the case of Deadfoot, and or Runningnose, both cats seemed content and even happy with their name, and ultimately, I feel like those names tend to describe their personality.
I get that the name Twigbranch is a bit bland, but it symbolizes her growth from apprentice to Warrior. So yes-it does make sense.
I, personally, don’t mind the name Clawface, and I think it’s an awesome name, and neatly summed up his personality.
I agree with you about Lostface, Crookedjaw, Hollowbelly, Loudbelly.

    • Pharaoh Loneheart,
I agree with you on Foxheart. The cats may think foxes are evil and stupid, but there are very smart. Also they are good at fighting which I have to say is good. Harrybrook doesn’t make sense but I have to admit, it sounds cool to me! I agree with you on Billystorm and Harrybrook too. Deadfoot and Runningnose, I agree with you on them too. Twigbranch, in my opinion, is really cute. I like it and it suits her.

  • Crookedjaw’s mother makes me so mad. The poor cat thinks he’s worthless now because of his stupid mom. Though Lostface is an awful name, you also have to remember that Blue was practically losing her mind due to paranoia toward the end of her life so she probably didn’t know what she was doing.

  • You forgot Kitekit. CATS DON’T KNOW WHAT KITES ARE. Like- seriously. I like the names in The Prophecies Begin, they’re simple and mostly make sense. But KITE? And what about Bellaleaf? I understand that Bella is probably a plant or flower, and maybe others think it’s cute, but it’s just weird.

  • i agree all these names are pretty weird except for twigbranch. here’s another: Spiderleg. Like spiders on your LEG. How scary is that?

    • I mean by this logic Spiderface, Spidernose, Spiderear, and Spidereye are worse

    • I personally think that Spiderleg is not a good name. No offense, but it is one of those ones that send chills up my spine. (Especially after you read a different book series, and in it, spiders are signs of ghosts that want to eat you) I agree with Foxheart, it is a nice name. Foxes may be known for being mean to cats in the series, but foxes are also smart, and kind and loyal to their own. The name Foxheart suggests fierceness toward other clans and animals that are not cats, yet being very kind and loyal to their clan. I also agree with you on Crookedjaw. I mean, seriously cats?!?! That name is just an insult.

  • I think Brokentail is also a cruel name. I mean his tail was not BROKEN?!?! Just bent at a weird way…
But anyways, that isn’t even why he was named Brokenkit. Do you want to know why? It’s quite sad.

Well, to start off with, let’s review a rule of WarriorCats. Medic Cats cannot have kits. Yet, Yellowfang, is a medic cat. She had kits. She had had three kits, Brokenkit, Hopekit, and an unnamed kit who had died upon birth. Hopekit died soon after. But the “broken” part of his name was named “broken” because of how Yellowfang’s heart BROKE INTO A MILLION PIECES when she handed over Brokenkit to Raggedstar. And then, to make Brokenstar’s story even sadder, it was what I call a “Brokenstar Situation”. HE HAD NO CHOICE!!! STARCLAN DESTINED HIM TO BE EVIL AS PUNISHMENT FOR YELLOWFANG HAVING KITS.

And the WORST PART? Most people don’t realize that Brokenstar had no choice but to be evil. Now that you know that, has your opinion changed on Brokenstar?

  • Okay, you are kind of wrong on this, Lightningkit. Deadfoot likes his name!! Have you read Tallstar’s Revenge? I skipped over Deadfoot’s name because he never did anything to send a message that he ever hated his name, but when I read Tallstar’s Revenge or . . . I forgot what book it was actually. I don’t think the book was Tallstar’s Revenge, but anyways, it showed that Hopkit liked and accepted his new name.
Harrybrook and Billystorm can choose to keep their kittypet name as a prefix, it’s their choice and they are completely fine with it. Runningnose never got to cure his own cold, but he was a great medicine cat. And as for Twigbranch, “twig” and “branch” are definitely not the same things. Haven’t you read about what Bramblestar said at her warrior ceremony??!! I’m gonna have to half agree with you on Lostface. Yes, it was a TERIBBLE name, BUT it was when Bluestar was not herself!! Bluestar should never have named Brightheart, Lostface, if she wasn’t stuck in her mood.
Foxheart? Foxheart is . . . okay, but ye the name is slightly offensive.
I agree with you on the others.
