Hello everyone, it’s Hawthorn here again with another article! After the positive comments on my first article about relating Warriors to older songs, I have decided to write another one, even though it’s been a long time since the first one. In this article, I will be putting the lyrics to some of my favorite songs that relate to Warriors the most. I will also include a link to the song on YouTube so you can listen if you don’t know it! Here is our first one:
In part 1, I put “Against the Wind” by Bob Seger, with Graystripe looking back at his past, and when he was in love with Silverstream. So here we are, another song about him and Silverstream,
“Hungry Heart” by Bruce Springsteen.

Got a bunch of friends in ThunderClan, Jack (you may have to change Jack 😛) I went out to go hunting and I never came back. Like a river that don’t know where it’s flowing, I took a wrong turn and I just kept going. Everybody’s gotta hungry heart, everybody’s gotta hungry heart. Lay down your fresh kill and you play your part. Everybody’s gotta huh-huh-hungry heart. Meet her in the RiverClan border. We fell in love, but it had to end. We took what we have and it all fell apart. Now here I am down in RiverClan again.
Our second one is “These Dreams” by Heart. I think this one could be about any medicine cat as they get prophecies in their dreams.

Spare a little sun and save some light for me. Figures up ahead moving in the trees. The answer’s hidden of what this secret is and the full moon that hangs over these dreams in the mist. Darkness on the edge, shadows where I stand. I search for the time on a river with no land. I want to see you clearly, come closer than this. But all that I remember are the dreams in the mist. These dreams go on when I close my eyes. Every second of the night I live another life. These dreams that sleep when it’s cold outside. Every moment I’m awake, the further I’m away. Is it fur and claw swipes, could it be new leaf or leaf fall? I walk without a cut through a bramble wall. Weaker in my eyesight, the sunlight in my grip, and words that have no form are falling from my lips.
That’s it for now. I wanted to put a third one, but I couldn’t think of one so I hope I can come back soon with part 3! Tell me what you thought in the comments! See you next time!

This is really creative! I’ve done stuff like this, just with other books. You did a really good job! If you like Bruce Springsteen, Blinded by the Light is a good movie!
