BlogClanner In The Spotlight: Shadefrost

In this month’s edition of BITS, we are interviewing Shadefrost!

Hi guys! I hope you’re ready for the July BITS interview. Our wonderful guest this month is Shadefrost! I would like to thank Shadey for being an awesome interviewee and I would like to thank Kat for creating the awesome drawing. Without further ado, here is the interview!

Q: If you can remember, what year did you start reading Warriors? Why did you stick with the series?

A: I think I started around 2016? I was at my grandparents’ house and I saw the book Bluestar’s Prophecy! I still remember it quite vividly, I read it on the couch and enjoyed the book a lot, so I searched on Amazon to look for more Warrior books, and up came OoTS in the search bar! (I think all the paper covers for the arc were just newly released at that time if I remember correctly) Back then, I was a HUGE fantasy fan and I loved to read, so I bought it. Funnily enough, I started with that arc, but eventually caught on with the rest of the books. πŸ™‚ I enjoyed The Dawn of The Clans arc the most, and I just loved the characters and the storyline in general. Winter Edit: DOTC is my favourite arc too! Overall, the Warriors series is super entertaining and that’s why I stuck with it for so long, it just made up a huge part of my childhood, and from time to time I still like to revisit the books. πŸ˜‰

Q: How did you discover BlogClan? What made you stay?

A: I don’t completely remember how I discovered the Blog, but it was most likely through a Google search for Warriors! πŸ˜› What made me stay was obviously the amazing community! Everyone gave me such a warm welcome. Iβ€˜ve made some really amazing friends here, and it’s honestly crazy that I’ve been on this Blog for over 2 and a half years. I want to thank everyone, and I mean EVERYONE for making this such a wonderful place. Even now, everyone is still so kind, and I feel so lucky to have discovered this place. Everyone’s supportive and caring, and this is like a second home for me. The peak of my life has been the years where I was active on the Blog, it made me so happy all the time, and I can’t imagine where’d I be without this Blog. ❀️

Q: If you could be reincarnated as any plant, which would you choose?

A: Bushy Asters are my favorite! I love pastel colors, and I personally love small flowers like thoseβ€”they stand out, but they’re not too bright or too dark either…very aesthetically pleasing. πŸ˜› They’re not hard to grow, and don’t need to be staked. They attract birds and butterflies which is really nice, and they don’t require a super specific environment. They just need either a sunny or partially shady place to grow in, and medium moisture soil. πŸ™‚ Winter Edit: I love this gardening lesson LOL.

Q: Favourites! Breakfast food, article of clothing, world continent, and class in school.

A: My favorite breakfast food is very, very simple. Just eggs. πŸ˜› I don’t mind any type, I like them all, and they’re quick, easy, yummy, and quite affordable. Personally, my favorite method is scrambled, you can make eggs in like two minutes, and you could add anything in that you like! My favorite clothing is a hoodie, it’s comfortable and loose, and putting the hood over your face is the best way to make no social interaction. I have like ten of them, most of them bought from gift shops. πŸ˜› My favorite continent is Europe! I love the diversity there and I would love to go to Iceland or Norway, it’s just soo pretty there. HamnΓΈy is my favorite place in Norway, you could see the Northern Lights there, and the landscape is stunning. My dream destination in Iceland is The Westfjords. The scenery is so remarkable, there’s grassy mountains, waterfalls, and lots of wildlife. It’s a breathtaking place, and if you’re looking for a place where it’s calm and where there’s plenty of places to take pictures, The Westfjords is the perfect place to go. (I also suggest you look up pictures of them, it’s gorgeous.) And finally, my favorite class in school: I’m going to have to say math, not because it’s necessarily fun or anything, but I’ve just always been decent at it and it’s just about the only subject I’ve been a little bit confident in. πŸ˜›

Iceland Westfjords

Q: If you had to live in one climate (same weather and features every day) for the rest of your life, what kind would you choose?

A: I’d live in a Santa Barbara-like climate! It’s just usually around 70 degrees year-round, and the weather there is nice too! I went on vacation there once and it was bright and sunny all the time, but not extremely hot or anything. The consistent weather is quite surprising. There’s plenty of tourist attractions, and the people there I have met are also quite nice! There’s also TONS of beaches! (I mean it’s Cali, duh.) Santa Barbara’s awesome if you love the ocean, it’s an amazing vacation destination! 11/10 would recommend. πŸ˜‰

Q: What is your Zodiac sign? What are some attributes of that sign? Do you think it correctly describes you?

A: I’m an Aries! I’m supposed to be confident and determined, but that seems like quite the opposite of me πŸ˜› However, my weaknesses don’t seem far off? β€œImpatient, moody, short-tempered, impulsive, aggressive.” Yep, that sounds like me. However, I’m MUCH more like a Gemini or Pisces. The Gemini and Pisces’ traits are so close to how I am that it’s scary. Winter Edit: I’m a Pisces and I do not identify with it at ALL. It’s way off. Pisces are known to be artistic, empathetic, emotional, and generous…I am none of those things.

Q: Pen or pencil?

A: I like pens because they write much smoother, however, I do make a lot of mistakes in writing and I always need an erasable tool, so I suppose pencils would be better in my case? But pens are really nice to draw with too, I use them both a lot though. So thennnn I guess pencils.

Q: And finally, you randomly win a contest for an all-expense-paid trip to anywhere in the world for 10 daysβ€”which three BlogClanners do you take with you, and where do you go?

A: Hmmmm, I mean if I could, I would take the whole Blog with me. πŸ˜› But if I had to choose, I would choose Foxie, Pine, and Cheeto, because they’re so nice and always there for me C: (If I didn’t choose you, please know I didn’t leave you out on purpose, I had like 10 other people on my mind, but I could only include three. I’m so sorry!!!) We can’t really go anywhere right now. πŸ˜› but if we could, personally, I would love to go to Iceland or Norway if you couldn’t tell already xD I’m just obsessed with those places, really. They’re my dream destinations. πŸ™‚

Once again, thanks to Shadey for being such a great interviewee! If you guys enjoyed this edition please comment down below and share your thoughts and opinions! I’ll see you all soon for the next Spotlight. πŸ˜€
