Warriors songs: Dark Forest edition by Echomist

Echomist shares some Warrior-ified songs.

Hi! Echomist is here with an article about songs that could have been used for the Dark Forest cats.
SPOILERS FOR THE PROPHECIES BEGIN, TIGERCLAW’S FURY, MAPLESHADE’S VENGEANCE AND OMEN OF THE STARS.
So I’m going to start with the most well-known Dark Forest cat.

Tigerstar l
That’s My Lullaby from The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride.
This one would be about Tigerstar teaching Bramblekit about being evil. It really fits, actually.
Tigerstar: Sleep, my little Bramble,
Let your dreams take wing
One day when you’re big and strong,
You will be a king
Bramblekit: Good night…
Tiger: Good night, my little prince.
Tomorrow, your training intensifies.
I’ve been exiled, persecuted,
Left alone with no defense.
When I think of what that brute did,
I get a little tense.
But I dream a dream so pretty,
That I don’t feel so depressed.
‘Cause it soothes my inner kitty,
And it helps me get some rest.
The sound of Fire’s dying gasp,
His daughter squealing in my grasp.
All of ThunderClan’s mournful cry,
That’s my lullaby.
Now the past I’ve tried forgetting,
And my foes I could forgive.
Trouble is, I knows it’s petty,
But I hate to let them live.
Darkstripe: So you found yourself somebody who’d chase Fireheart up a tree.
Tiger: Oh, the battle may be bloody, but that kind of works for me.
The melody of angry growls,
A counterpoint of painful howls.
A symphony of death, oh my!
That’s my lullaby.
Pinestar’s gone… but Tigerclaw’s still around,
To love this little lad.
Till he learns to be a killer,
With a lust for being bad!
Dark: Sleep, ya little termite!
Uh– I mean, precious little thing!
Tawnykit: One day when you’re big and strong,
Tiger: You will be a king!
The pounding of the drums of war
The thrill of Bramblekit’s mighty roar
Dark: The joy of vengeance!
Tawny: Testify!
Tiger: I can hear the cheering
Dark and Tawny: Bramble! What a guy!
Tiger: Payback time is nearing,
And then our flag will fly.
Against a blood-red sky,
That’s my lullaby!

Be Prepared from The Lion King
I seriously think evil songs in The Lion King really fit Tigerstar. This one would be about him telling his rogues about his plan to kill off ThunderClan.

I never thought rogues essential,
They’re crude and unspeakably plain.
But maybe they’ve a glimmer of potential,
If allied to my vision and brain.
I know that your powers of retention,
Are as wet as a warthog’s backside.
But thick as you are, pay attention,
My words are a matter of pride.
It’s clear from your vacant expressions,
The lights are not all on upstairs.
But we’re talking kings and successions,
Even you can’t be caught unawares.
So prepare for a chance of a lifetime,
Be prepared for sensational news.
A shining new era,
Is tiptoeing nearer,
And where do we feature?
Just listen to teacher.
I know it sounds sordid,
But you’ll be rewarded,
When at last I am given my dues.
And injustice deliciously squared,
Be prepared!
It’s great that we’ll soon be connected,
With a king who’ll be all-time adored.
Of course, quid pro quo, you’re expected,
To take certain duties on board.
The future is littered with prizes,
And though I’m the main addressee.
The point that I must emphasize is,
You won’t get a sniff without me!
So prepare for the coup of the century,
Be prepared for the murkiest scam.
Meticulous planning,
Tenacity spanning,
Decades of denial,
Is simply why I’ll,
Be king undisputed,
Respected, saluted,
And seen for the wonder I am.
Yes, my teeth and ambitions are bared,
Be prepared!
Yes, our teeth and ambitions are bared,
Be prepared!

Mapleshade
A Little Time by The Beautiful South
This is when Mapleshade spots Appledusk having fun with Reedshine and Mapleshade and him have an argument.

Apple: I need a little time to think it over
I need a little space just on my own
I need a little time to find my freedom
I need a little

Maple: Funny how quick the milk turned sour, isn’t it, isn’t it?
Your face has been looking like that for hours, hasn’t it, hasn’t it?
Promises, promises turn to dust
Wedding bells just turn to rust
Trust into mistrust

Apple: I need a little room to find myself
I need a little space to work it out
I need a little room all alone
I need a little

Maple: You need a little room for your big head, don’t you, don’t you?
You need a little space for a thousand beds, won’t you, won’t you?
Lips that promise fear the worst
Tongue so sharp the bubble burst
Just into unjust

Apple: I’ve had a little time to find the truth
Now I’ve had a little room to check what’s wrong
I’ve had a little time and I still love you
I’ve had a little

Maple: You had a little time and you had a little fun, didn’t you, didn’t you?
While you had yours do you think I had none, do you, do you?
The freedom that you wanted back is yours for good, I hope you’re glad
Sad into unsad

Apple: I had a little time to think it over
I had a little room to work it out
I’ve found a little courage to call it off
I’ve had a little time

Apple: I’ve had a little time
I’ve had a little time
I’ve had a little time

When The War Is Over from The Next Step
This one is generally about the whole Dark Forest so you know. It’s about The Great Battle and what Ivypool thinks will happen if the Dark Forest wins.

So this is how it ends
No world left to avenge
All the talk of fire and brimstone’s gone
And now we make amends
And all the talk or worlds we have to conquer
We will fight again
When the war is over
Don’t take enemies
Don’t take enemies for friends
When the war is over
When the war is over
When the war is over
When the war is over
When the war is over
When the war is over
So this is how we ends
Put your weapons down
And make amends
Spent all we could spend
But don’t play nice for too long
The war will begin again
When the war is over
When the war is over
When the war is over
When the war is over
When the war is over
When the war is over
When the war’s…

I can’t think of any other songs, so I’m sorry that this one only had four.
May StarClan light your path,
Echomist.
