Hi! This is Echomist with an article about names! And how to name warriors/med. Cats. Okay, here goes!

PREFIX
The prefix is normally about the appearance, as it is given to a kit that has just been born. So they don’t really have a personality yet.
It can also be about a dead cat, or a significant event at their time of birth (Oakkit, Stormkit for example)
Some prefixes you could do:
White/cream pelt: Cloud, White, Snow, Ice, Light, Willow, Pebble, Hail, Sand, Frost, Shell, Dawn
Black pelt: Raven, Black, Night, Moon, Crow, Mole, Dark, Shade, Moth, Ash, Smoke, Dusk
Ginger/red pelt: Sun, Fire, Spark, Flame, Maple, Rowan, Holly, Juniper, Fox, Vixen, Amber, Scorch, Burn, Blaze, Red
Brown pelt: Pine, Birch, Tree, Brown, Acorn, Fawn, Deer, Wood, Bark, Mud, Oak, Aspen, Beech, Leaf, Thorn, Cedar, Chestnut, Cypress (I love that word), Hazel, Rowan, Nut, Owl, Hawk, Eagle, Wren, Branch, Dust, Tawny, Stag, Hound
Grey (light) pelt: Cloud, Grey, Water, Lake, Willow, Fish, Blue, Brook, Storm, Wolf, Mist, Misty, Pebble, Stone, Rock, Hail, Dove

SUFFIX
You don’t need to make your suffix based on an event that has happened to your character. If it were like that Bluefur would be named Bluesquirrel (Bluestar’s Prophecy joke). But you can if you want.
Make sure you don’t name your cat Shadeshade, or Stormstorm because that would be weird.
Here is what the names mean (to me):
Pelt, fur – their fur is that colour
Spots, dapple – they have spots or a dappled pelt
Ear, foot, jaw, nose, tooth, face, leg, tail, toe – they have a distinctive ear/foot/jaw/nose/tooth/face/leg/tail/toe
