Sorry I’m a week late 😛

Anyways, there were so many good entries for all of the contests this month!! Y’all do not make it easy to only select three, because they’re all so good 😭

Also a note for future reference – it’s okay if it’s past the deadline and you still wanna submit. There’s not a 100% chance that it’ll be counted but there’s at least a 90% chance it’ll be counted because I often forget about my own deadline 😛 Just a heads up, since I love all of the submissions so muchh I don’t mind if they’re late or anything 😀

“Watching, watching… stalking, stalking…
Waiting, waiting… plotting, plotting…
The juicy mouse scurries under a bush, 
Right before I can wrap my claws around it. 

Ha! It thinks it can escape from me!
It quickly comes out from the other end of the shrubbery,
I leap over the thicket, and my paws kiss the soft ground.
The mouse got away.

I growl, and look into the distance, where the warriors are,
Soon they’ll be gone. I can destroy it all.
My next piece of prey.

Then I think of him. An image of the brown muscular tom floats in my mind,
Viciously clawing a young kit. 
Oh yes, he’ll be gone soon, too.
I’ll make sure of it.
They’re all just prey to me…“

The rhyming was marvellous and the rhythm made it so fun to read! Congratulations!
