Analyzing Bluestar (Analyzing Characters Part 1 by Streampaw

Streampaw takes a look at the first ThunderClan leader introduced in the books, Bluestar.

Okay this is Streampaw and I am going to be analyzing Bluestar! Before I start, I want to make this analyzing a series. (Notice how I put part 1 on the title) Also, *SPOILERS FOR BLUESTAR’S PROPHECY AND FIRST ARC* Okay let’s start.
So Bluestar. Bluestar has never been my favorite character but I don’t DISLIKE her. She’s not purrfect. (Haha?) Let’s start with her as a kit. She loves her mother and her sister and she wants to impress Stormtail, her father. She opens her eyes later than her sister, Snowkit (Snowfur) and they explore the camp. They wander into the warriors den and get scolded by Stonepelt, her later mentor. No huge events happen when Bluestar is a kit so let’s move on. Bluestar as an apprentice. She gets Stonepelt for a mentor and she is a good hunter. Only a few days after becoming an apprentice, Goosefeather tells the Clan that they must raid Windclan. Pinestar attacks and Bluepaw and Snowpaw stay outside the Windclan camp. Moonflower, Bluepaw’s mother, dies during the battle. Bluepaw and Snowpaw are heartbroken but it is worse that Stormtail is mooning over Dappletail the whole time. (I hate that ship) Stonepelt retires and Bluepaw gets the clan deputy, Sunfall. Bluepaw is grumpy the whole time because she misses her mother. Goosefeather gives her a prophecy saying she will blaze through the forest, but will be quenched by water. Bluepaw gets her warrior name Bluefur alongside her sister Snowfur. Snowfur becomes mates with Thistleclaw and has a son named Whitekit (Whitestorm). Snowfur dies on the Thunderpath, leaving Bluefur upset with grief. She takes care of Whitekit, making Thistleclaw angry. Bluefur falls in love with Oakheart, a Riverclan warrior. She becomes angry with Thistleclaw after he has Tigerpaw hurt an innocent kit (Scourge). Bluefur then learns that she is expecting Oakheart’s kits. She tells Thrushpelt, a clanmate, that they are not his kits and he offers pretend to be their father. Bluefur accepts. She decides that she has to give up her three kits (Mistykit, Stonekit, and Mosskit) to their father so she can become deputy and protect the clan from Thistleclaw. Mosskit dies from the cold but Bluefur becomes deputy then leader. As leader, Bluestar takes in Rusty (Firestar) and becomes his mentor. Bluestar names many deputys (Redtail, Lionheart, and Tigerstar) and Tigerclaw betrays her. That leads Bluestar to slowly lose her mind. She dies saving Fireheart’s life from the dogs.

Okay so now we summarized her life, let’s analyze her personality. Bluestar seems ambitious, determined, loyal, and brave. She sacrifices her life for Fireheart’s. She is also pretty wise and makes good choices.
Goals: To become leader: Bluestar wants to become leader of Thunderclan because she thinks it can save the Clan from Thistleclaw.
To stop Thistleclaw: Thistleclaw seems pretty evil in Bluestar’s Prophecy. Bluestar wants to stop him before he becomes Thunderclan’s Brokenstar.
