Analyzing Tigerstar’s Family Tree by Flamekit

Hi, everyone. My name is Flamekit and this is my very first BlogClan article. I haven’t been on BlogClan for that long (like, only a month), so I thought I should start out this article with a few quick facts about myself. 1. I love reading, and the two things I love more than it is animals and my puppy (there’s also my family, though a lot of the time that’s pretty debatable). 2. My favorite book series are Warriors (duh), Wings of Fire, Bravelands, and any book by Rick Riordan. My favorite book characters are Ivypool, Hollyleaf, Tall Shadow, Sleekwhisker and Mistyfoot (Warriors), Sundew, Glory, and Tsunami (Wings of Fire), Rush and Berry (Bravelands), and Annabeth and Sadie (Rick Riordan). 3. I am currently crushing on Breezepelt. Now, back to the article! For those of you who weren’t sure (I’m pretty sure this is everybody) I am going to be analyzing the family tree of the first Tigerstar, though this article would work with either of them. I’m going to start with his ancestors, and then work my way down to his descendants. WARNING! Contains spoilers for Legends of the Clans, The Prophecies Begin, The New Prophecy, Power of Three, Omen of the Stars, A Vision of Shadows, The Broken Code, Firestar’s Quest, Squirrelflight’s Hope and Tigerheart’s Shadow.

Ancestors
1. Pinestar- Pinestar was Tigerstar’s father, and he was the leader who left his clan to become a kittypet. He left his kits in the hands (or should I say paws?) of their mother when he left to become a kittypet to avoid all the bloodshed the warriors experienced.
2. Sweetbriar- Sweetbriar was Pinestar’s mother, hence making her Tigerstar’s grandmother. Sweetbriar isn’t mentioned much, so I don’t know much about her, other than the fact that she loved her son greatly.
3. Oakstar- Oakstar was Tigerstar’s grandfather, and he was leader before his son, Pinestar. I’m not sure how he died, but I know he died before Pinestar became a kittypet.
4. Birchface- Birchface was Pinestar’s half-brother and Tigerstar’s half-uncle. He was killed in a battle with RiverClan over Sunningrocks.
5. Leopardfoot- Leopardfoot was Tigerstar’s mother, and Pinestar’s mate. You can see in Pinestar’s Choice that Pinestar did care for his mate, but not as much as he did for some of his kittypet friends, though Leopardfoot loved him very much. At the end of Pinestar’s Choice, she is a bit bitter about him leaving the clan, along with him leaving her and their newborn kits.
6. Swiftbreeze- Leopardfoot’s mother. She only appears in Pinestar’s Choice for a very brief time.
7. Nightkit and Mistkit- Tigerstar’s two sisters. They were born a half-moon too early and did not survive through kithood.
8. Gorseclaw- Son of Cloudstar and Birdflight, he was raised in ThunderClan because he and his sister were too small to make the journey to the gorge. A distant relative of Tigerstar.

Descendants
1. Bramblestar- Tigerstar and Goldenflower’s son. He was Firestar’s apprentice and was the ThunderClan cat selected to journey to the sun-drown place. He is Squirrelflight’s mate. He killed his brother Hawkfrost to save Firestar, and he took over as leader of ThunderClan when Firestar was killed in the Great Battle.
2. Tawnypelt- Tigerstar and Goldenflower’s daughter. She left ThunderClan to live with her father in ShadowClan after she and her brother were scorned for being Tigerstar’s kits. She was the ShadowClan cat chosen to journey to the sun-drown place, and she had three kits with her mate, Rowanstar. She briefly served as deputy of ShadowClan during the time they were rebuilding themselves after the clan was destroyed by Darktail.
3. Mothwing- Tigerstar and Sasha’’s only daughter, Mothwing first trained as a warrior before becoming a medicine cat, and she obtained a very strong friendship with Leafpool.
4. Hawkfrost- Hawkfrost was one of Tigerstar and Sasha’s sons, and he briefly served as deputy to RiverClan when Mistyfoot went missing. He trained with his father in the Dark Forest, and when he was killed by Bramblestar, he went to the Dark Forest and helped train many clan cats including Ivypool.
5. Tadpole- Tigerstar and Sasha’s other son. Tadpole drowned when he and his siblings were trapped in an abandoned Twoleg house.
6. Alderheart- The son of Bramblestar and Squirrelflight, and one of ThunderClan’s current medicine cats. He began training as a warrior before training as a medicine cat, and he led the very first quest to find SkyClan. He and Needletail were the cats who found Violetshine and Twigbranch.
7. Sparkpelt- Bramblestar and Squirrelflight’s daughter, and a current warrior of ThunderClan. Her mate is Larksong.
8. Tigerheart/star- One of Tawnypelt and Rowanstar’s kits. He briefly ran away with his ThunderClan mate, Dovewing, before returning to his clan with his three kits.
9. Flametail- Tawnypelt and Rowanstar’s other son, he trained under Littlecloud to become a medicine cat, and had only recently received his medicine cat name before he drowned in the lake after falling through some ice.
10. Dawnpelt- Tawnypelt and Rowanstar’s daughter, she was killed by her own daughter, Sleekwhisker after trying to escape from Darktail’s band of rogues. Her mate was Crowfrost, and she had three kits with him.
11. Flamepaw- One of Sparkpelt and Larksong’s sons. Currently apprenticed to Lilyheart.
12. Finchpaw- Sparkpelt and Larksong’s daughter. Currently apprentice to Cinderheart.
13. Flickerkit- Sparkpelt and Larksongs other son. He died of the same disease that killed his father.
14. Pouncestep- One of Tigerheart and Dovewing’s daughters. A current warrior of ShadowClan.
15. Lightleap- Tigerheart and Dovewing’s other daughter. A current warrior of ShadowClan.
16. Shadowsight- Tigerheart and Dovewing’s son. A current medicine cat of ShadowClan. Shadowsight had visions as a kit, and they usually came with seizures. He is one of the main cats in The Broken Code arc.
17. Juniperclaw- One of Dawnpelt and Crowfrost’s sons. He, like his siblings, received his warrior name from rouges. He was one of the cats who saved Shadowsight as a kit when he jumped in a river to unite the clans. He was a deputy of ShadowClan, but lost his position when the truth came out that he had attempted to poison cats of SkyClan. He died saving Shadowsight and Violetshine from a flooded river.
18. Strikestone- The other son of Dawnpelt and Crowfrost. He received his warrior name from rouges, and he died in a battle against the Bramblestar imposter.
19. Sleekwhisker- Dawnpelt and Crowfrost’s only daughter. She was one of the most loyal cats in Darktail’s Kin, and after she joined SkyClan, she attempted to steal Yarrowleaf’s kits to bring them to their rogue father. She gave herself her warrior name when she lived with the rouges. She was Tigerheart’s first apprentice, and she was not afraid to speak her mind. When Dawnpelt attempted to escape from Darktail’s Kin with Juniperclaw and Strikestone, she woke Violetpaw and asked if she wanted to come with them, stating that there was no way Sleekwhisker would have come, and that she hadn’t even asked her.
