The impostor’s reign of terror has brought the Clans to the brink of destruction, and now, every warrior—living and dead—must unite to defeat him before he delivers his final blow. To ensure their future and protect their past, StarClan, the Dark Forest, and all five Clans must band together to turn back the tide of darkness—before the impostor’s fury destroys them all.

  • Hey kate, what is you favorite group of cats outside of the clans?

I want a full novella on Warriorsclan, I love their group so much. It be fun to have a novella set with cats outside of the clans.

  • Hi Kate, I don’t know about you but I am a HUGE shadowsight fan. I just think he’s just so cute and sweet. But thats just me 😃😄

  • I hope Hollyleaf shows up in this book. She killed Ashfur, after all. Maybe there will be a final standoff between the two of them. Although I wouldn’t want that burden to be put on her.
Also, maybe she can finally talk some sense into Lionblaze.

  • I feel like Shadowsight going crazy is a legitimate possibility in this book…
I mean like, there was like three books where everyone hated the guy (leading me to spend ten minutes straight screaming WHY while sitting on my porch and hoping that the Erins somehow heard me). Also, the Dark Forest is really terrible for peoples’ sanity, and Shadowsight seems to have some sort of *connection* to it, so… things. I’ve heard theories that he’s sort of like Dark Leafpool, which would honestly make sense. Also, I’m commenting this in the hopes that seeing it on the page will make me realize that it’s a crazy idea and not in the slightest likely to happen, but I’ve made some good points in this post and all I’m doing is convincing myself and so I’m just gonna post it before I can dig myself deeper into the spiraling hole of terrifying fandom theories, which I’m already pretty deep in xD

    • Ok I feel like I didn’t explain myself well in that, so maybe a “demonstration” would be better? So, imagine that you have a piece of glass. You also have a bag of balls, and it’s guaranteed that throwing five balls at the glass won’t damage it. So you throw the first ball at the glass, and there’s no damage. You throw the second and third ones, and there’s still no damage. It wobbles a bit at the fourth one, but no damage. Same with the fifth one. Then you decide to throw a sixth ball at the glass, to see what happens, and the glass cracks a little bit, but not enough to be a problem. Then you throw a seventh ball. The glass does not like this, but it does not break completely. But then you throw the eighth ball. You have broken the glass. Please do not break the glass. I like the glass. I feel like we’re on maybe our sixth ball here, so, be nice to the glass. Thank you for taking the time to read my Completely Sense-Free Theories™

    • Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh dark leafpool? Never seen that coming :/ I’ve never even heard of that. is that like leafpool being controlled by ashfur? I’m confused also trust me shadowsight is very good he will help kill a ashfur probably after getting controlled by ashfur LOL I’m joking XD I can’t wait for a light in the mist 🙂 also same about fandom horrors except neck deep LOL

  • Hi, Kate!
So in A Light in the Mist, would Shadowsight regain trust from his clan? Because he seems to slowly be regaining it. Also, would Rootspring die? I think it would be interesting if he died because then we would have a perspective of a ghost which would be really interesting! Also how many arcs would there be in Warriors? Thank you! And sorry if they are too many questions!

    • How about no for rootspring. I am literally begging for the erins to NOT kill bristlefrost or Rootspring. They are both my favourite characters and I’ve been begging for them to get together ever since… April 2020. If any of them dies or if they don’t get together I’m gonna be really sad.
