So if I understand correctly, Ashfur blocked StarClan and then volunteered to go figure out what was wrong, without anyone else realizing that it was his fault? They didn’t send anyone else? Out of the entire StarClan?
That’s probably a good thing, actually. Ashfur would probably just have killed whoever it was.
How did Ashfur-one cat-manage to block StarClan so effectively? Also, seriously, the only connection is that one tunnel?
“Theyβd actually believed heβd repented, that heβd forgiven his enemiesβeven Hollyleaf, his murderer.” That makes it sound like he explained himself to them….like he also had a trial.
I don’t watch horror movies, but isn’t splitting up in the enemy’s turf how people usually die in them?
Medicine cats having increased sensitivity to Ashfur’s control-i.e. supernatural phenomena-makes sense.

Do the Dark Forest cats know Bristlefrost is related to Ivypool?

I was really hoping he’d be reincarnated so he could live a good 2nd life unless-
Maybe he could still be reincarnated? Maybe that’s what happens to cats who fade completely! Or he has the choice to fade away peacefully or be reincarnated! There’s so many options, and I hope they’re explored π

Kate, is Whitestorm Ashfur’s father? If he is than why wasn’t he particularly fatherly towards him as a kit?
Is this a new thing? Does everyone know this but me? I am beginning to think that I’m not as good at knowing everything about 100 cats simultaneously as I should be.
Well, Brindleface is Ashfur’s mother, and weren’t Whitestorm and Brindleface mates?
I guess they must be? Is it in the official Warriors family tree?
It says that Whitestorm is Ashfur’s father on the website family tree, but that’s really the only kind of information we get about it.

Nooooo! Omit that from your memory. The family tree has been proven wrong before! Whitestorm is the father of Willowpelt’s kits in TPB, he shows extreme excitement about her delivering and is pinned as the father by Firestar. There is no absolute way that Whitestorm of all cats cheated on his mate. Runningwind is a much better choice for Ashfur’s dad. I know I’ve said this already but Whitestorm is a loyal cat. He did not two time and have two mates at once.

Like hope is great and all but action is better-and I donβt mean βthe clans argue and someone goes rouge and gets lucky.β I mean, the Clans are making real actual plans and strategies and decisions and we see them play out or fail. THAT would be cool.

Hello Kate! I’m sorry i haven’t been on for so long! I just read the excerpt and can’t wait; the book comes a day after my birthday :3
But anyway, I have some questions!
1. If you change one thing about the Warriors society, what would it be?
2. How do you think Thrushpelt reacted to seeing Stonefur and Mistyfoot alive in Riverclan after his death?
3. Are there any other cats in (living, current) Thunderclan that you think are villain-worthy? Like, is Plumstone secretly plotting our demise or something?

And 2. I think he was pretty darn happy that they lived a good life and hung out with Mosskit until her parents came. I have a headcanon that he was there to welcome Stonefur after his death and still chats with him from time to time, but spends his time in Starclan chilling in the sun like he deserves. We love Thrushpelt <3

If we end up having some kind of living cats and StarClan vs the Dark Forest thing going on like in OotS I think it be neat if there was some kind of confrontation between old man Greystripe and Darkstripe

Was she sad and upset and angry when Stemleaf rejected her in favor of Spotfur? Yes.
Did she get over it and move on with her life? Also yes!
Like Shadowsight said- Squirrelflight loves Bramblestar! She’s fine with him! She’s happy with him! If Ashfur really loved her he would see that and want her to keep being happy! Instead he goes on a rampage! It’s not like Bristlefrost tried to kill Spotfur or anything!
