So, we all get to talk about liking or hating Squirrelfight, and why. [the most important part of this is the ‘why’ bit.]

I like Squirrelflight because she is so much more fun than her sister! She was a snappy apprentice who was always getting into trouble and a kind-hearted warrior, as she agreed to look after Leafpool’s kits. She’s one of my favourite characters as she is just so awesome!
I am sort of divided between disliking her and liking her because
1. She DITCHED ASHFUR FOR BRAMBLECLAW WITHOUT EVEN TELLING HIM WHY. By doing that she basically dragged all of her problems into existence. My opinion is that the entire plot line of TBC would never had happened if she had just told him she wanted to be with Brambleclaw.
2. She’s kind of like me. That’s it 😛

I am sort of just, disliking her. Squirrelflight hid the secret from Bramblestar when he deserved to know. That’s all really
That is true, but at this point Bramble had a history of reacting badly to things that Squilf told him (think the Hawkfrost drama) and if she did tell him, he would react badly and not let her explain/not listen to her explanation.
Yeah.. you’re right. But still, I don’t like her much
She also didn’t tell him since she wanted him to love the kits as his own (I’m sure you’ve seen the anti-adoption culture in the Clans)
I like Squirrelflight because she’s fiesty and not afraid to speak her mind

what kind of AU is it? like is it a character rewrite or a story rewrite? i might be interested, depending on what it’s about.
It is a story rewrite from the perspectives of Jayfeather, Hollyleaf, and Squirrelflight. The main plot is that Hawkfrost and Tigerstar approach Ashfur about their plan to take over/destroy the Clans and get revenge on Firestar. Ashfur, as part of this plan, kidnaps Squirrelflight during the fire scene so she can be used as a bargaining chip in the plan/become Ashfur’s mate. Hollyleaf leaves ThunderClan to find her mother while Jayfeather and Lionblaze realize she’s probably not the third cat and start to look for the true third cat.
There are several things that I need to elaborate on, I’m sure, but that’s the gist of it.

Yep credit is given in every chapter, since most of them will be getting written and edited by different people.
