My Favorite Warriors MAPs by Briarpaw

Briarpaw shares some of their favourite MAPs from the Warriors community.

Alright, it’s Ria here! About maybe a week or two ago Echomist’s article about their favorite warriors MAPs came out, and I got inspired! I thought I’d share my favs with you guys.

5.) Ready As I’ll Ever Be

I love fast-paced songs, and so naturally I loved this one! I’m not quite sure what the plot is- I’m pretty sure this is the moment before the Great Battle. The one doing most of the singing is Breezepelt. Also, I saw in a video talking about Warriors MAPs and they said that the transitions in this one were amazing, and I have to agree! It flowed super smoothly.

4.) Roxanne [LYRIC WARNING- NOT ALL LYRICS ARE APPROPRIATE FOR EVERYONE. IF YOU ARE A KIT, I WOULD NOT WATCH THIS. ALSO, SPOILERS FOR POT!]

“Wheeeere does my heeeeaaart liiiie, feeeeliiings I caaaan’t fiiiight”

That will almost definitely be in your head after watching this.

It’s super fun to watch and the song perfectly fits with the story! (It’s about Ashfur and the Bramble Squirrel Ash love triangle btw). Amazing art and animation as well.

3.) Tourner Dans le Vide [BLOOD/GORE WARNING, SPOILERS FOR THE DARKEST HOUR]

This is probably about one of the saddest MAPs you will ever see with a super catchy song. I teared up, my brother teared up, my mom teared up when she never read Warriors (me and my brother told her a bit about it though). After watching this, you will probably also start shipping Tigerstar and Darkstripe! I very much do now… anyways if you wanna watch something emotional and hear a song that isn’t in English, this is perfect for you. Also, if you look up the English translation of the song, it perfectly fits the story. I love how this MAP took the side of someone who we barely see’s perspective and made it into a brand new story that still suits the storyline.

2.) Panic Room [SPOILERS FOR INTO THE WILD, NIGHTMARE WARNING (yup it’s kinda dark)]

Okay I’ve been obsessed with this one lately and I love it so much I don’t even know where to begin… I’ve found that I like stuff that’s kind of dark and ack I loved this one! There really isn’t much to say here, but the art is really good and I love this so much shxbamnsbxan

And finally, number 1, the one y’all have been waiting for…

Unravel! [MAAAJOR SPOILERS FOR SHATTERED SKY, BLOOD WARNING]

I was actually introduced into the world of warriors MAPs through this one, and guess how? Through BlogClan! Yep, someone commented about half a year ago with a link to this MAP, saying that it was amazing and I remember Peb said the art was so good so I was thinking “Alright, I’ll check it out” and I fell in love with the MAP-making universe. So thank you so much to whoever commented that! You introduced me to a whole new world and now I’m making my own MAP parts. The art in here is so amazing there are no words to describe it and the designs are also breathtaking and the song fits so perfectly with the mood! This does make you sad and you might tear up a bit at the end though. But really. This is an amazing MAP.
