Redblaze draws parallels between Warriors Cats and Dr. Who

Hello! Redblaze here! If you know me, on BlogClan or in real life, you will probably also know that I have an unhealthy obsession with Doctor Who. Another thing I have an obsession with is…. you guessed it! Warrior Cats! So, why not compare two things that I am unhealthily obsessed with together, enjoy!
Warning: this contains spoilers for recent Warriors books and episodes of Doctor Who. If you haven’t watched all of the series and don’t want spoilers, then I recommend not reading this article.
Let’s start with the characters:
Sandstorm- Rose
I put these two together because their personality is very similar- feisty, adventure-loving and loyal to the end. They’re also similar in that they have affections for the main character (although I don’t think The Doctor is like Firestar and I’ll say why later). They also both don’t take kindly to being told that an adventure is too dangerous for them- although Sandstorm doesn’t seem to have a frantic mother running after her…. hmmmm.
Squirrelflight- Amy Pond
These two are fiery gingers with hot tempers and yet have a big heart. Their opinions are strong and they won’t hesitate to fight for them, even if they are threatened with evil spirits or battalions of daleks. They will travel to the end of the universe for those they love even if their boyfriend/mate is possessed…..
Mapleshade- Missy
They’re both extremely popular despite being extremely insane and evil. They’re mad, bad and proud of it. Despite them trying to kill the main character, you can’t help but like them in most cases. The only difference between the two is that Missy kind of gets redemption before her death. Mapleshade is often argued as not evil because of the death of her kits but I don’t think this is quite the same.
Jayfeather- Rory
These two can be pretty grumpy and prickly on the outside yet, really, are a big softies on the inside. They may not be cooperative or a team player most of the time and may not have a huge adventurous spirit but will do anything for the ones they love.
Crowfeather- The Doctor
I think Crowfeather is a very good match for The Doctor mainly because they both have flaws unlike some characters (I’m looking at you Firestar!) Crowfeather has made some bad choices in his life and yet tries to do good things. The Doctor is the same. They also are kind of confused on who they would like as a mate…..
Now, let’s take a look at the events
The Great Battle
I think this is similar to the conflict with the daleks in the episodes Bad Wolf and The Parting of Ways. The daleks of course the dark forest- hate filled and seeking revenge. There are many casualties yet the battle is eventually won.
The Battle between BloodClan
In the episodes Army of Ghosts and Doomsday, we see the Earth (The forest) invaded by Cybermen (Tigerstar) only for them to be destroyed by a sudden mysterious…. BloodClan! (The Daleks). This is like Scourge killing Tigerstar before finally being defeated by Firestar (The Doctor).
SkyClan’s Regeneration
As we know, SkyClan was cast out from the clans and basically destroyed until it was found and saved by Firestar. This is similar to the episode Day of The Doctor when Gallifrey (The Doctor’s home) is destroyed. Until… three of The Doctor’s incarnations band together to save Gallifrey. However, both Gallifrey and SkyClan are kept hidden from the rest of the world after their salvation.
