Whiterabbit wonders who else could have had the potential to train in the Dark Forest.
Today, I will be writing about cats who would have trained in the Dark Forest. What I mean is, cats who the Dark Forest could see were jealous, and who thought would want to be better warriors, perfect targets. So, I made a list.
Sandstorm and Dustpelt. I know that these two cats were alive for the battle against the Dark Forest, but if the Dark Forest had decided to strike earlier, in the first series, then Sandstorm and Dustpelt would have been obvious choices. They were jealous of graystripe and Firestar because they were constantly being outdone by apprentices that were much younger than them, not to mention that one of them was once a kittypet. Sandstorm and Dustpelt would have leaped at the chance to train to become a better warrior, no matter what.
Ashfur. Ashfur loved Squirrelflight and was very hurt when she became mates with Brambleclaw instead. He was obviously very jealous of Brambleclaw and he would have wanted to train in the Dark Forest. Of course, he wasn’t jealous because someone was being a better warrior than him, but he would still want to become the best warrior he can be so that he could possibly attract Squirrelflight again. Also, Blossomfall was just jealous of Briarlight. It wasn’t because she was being a better warrior.
Cloudtail. Cloudtail would really have wanted to prove his loyalty to his clan, to show them that a kittypet could be a good warrior, even if that kittypet ran off to join life with Twolegs for a little while. He most likely would have been a young warrior if the Dark Forest targeted him, but there’s only one problem why the Dark Forest didn’t target him: he didn’t believe in any of that stuff. StarClan and the Dark Forest were non-existent in his mind. The Dark Forest couldn’t reach him if they wanted. He was immune to one of the Dark Forest’s greatest weapons.
Crowfeather. Crowfeather would have wanted to prove his loyalty to his clan after he loved Feathertail of RiverClan, and then Leafpool, the ThunderClan medicine cat, who had his kits. He would have been desperate to prove to his clanmates that he was a loyal WindClan warrior, and what better way to do that than to become the best WindClan warrior ever. By the time the battle came, Crowfeather had taken Nightcloud as his mate, and his clan pretty much trusted him. If it had been earlier, then Crowfeather probably would have seen them in his dreams. Also, in Crowfeather’s Trial, it says something about the Dark Forest, but I don’t remember much about that book.
So, I hope you liked my article and you can comment if you can think of any other cats who would want to join the Dark Forest. Bye!
2 minutes ago! I think I’m first to comment!
1:05 am. (I mean I doubt the timezone’s correct but if it is then you must have tried really hard to be the first to comment😛)
I think it was actually like 6:00 for me, but yeah. 🙂
Nice article!
I mostly agree but I think Sandstorm would be more hesitant, and understand that joining would not be that great. But I could totally see Dustpelt, Ashfur, and Crowfeather join.
At first, Sandstorm and Dustpelt have pretty much the same personality.
I agree they did have pretty much the same personality at first.
Great Article!
Ashfur his own dark forest where he trained Bumblestripe… 😉Bumblestripe wasn’t a very good apprentice because he only wanted to manipulate his love interest instead of trying to kill her loved ones/family.I agree on all the other cats except Cloudtail and Crowfeather. I just can’t really see them joining the df. (I think I’m 1st to comment)(?)
Yeah, but I can imagine Crowpaw and Cloudpaw even though Cloudpaw literally couldn’t imagine it.
I think Crowfeather would be wise enough to not fall into the Dark Forest’s traps but maybe…
Cool article! I agree with maybe Dustpelt and Ashfur, but the others, like Crowfeather and Sandstorm, they were both loyal warriors, and I don’t think they would have listened.
Crookedstar was a loyal warrior. So was Birchfall. They didn’t know what it was until it was too late. Maybe Crowfeather and Sandstorm would’ve not known, too.
i totally agree! you made some really good points. it’s important to remember most of the cats who trained in the dark forest weren’t *bad*, but just manipulated. oh and then there’s breezepelt who is just a evil brat
agreed. That’s why I didn’t really put bad cats. Sandstorm is one of the most likeable cats in warriors after the book Fire and Ice.
Nice article!
Great article and content! I think Swiftpaw would’ve trained in the Dark Forest as well, if given the chance. :3
Great article! I agree with the Sandstorm and Dustpelt thing.
Swallowing Shadows
I agree with all of them except crowfeather. I think he’d be way smarter then to let the dark forest trick him.
i think crookedstar would probably have been trained to…wait a second…
