Cats with the Most Kits by Whitepaw

Whitepaw lists ThunderClan parents who had a lot of kits.

So, it’s Whitepaw, here with another article, and since my family trees series, I’ve been thinking about cats with a lot of kits. I never got to do the Rainflower family tree because it wasn’t long enough, so sorry guys. But anyway, today I will be doing an article about cats with the most kits. I will list the cats in order from most kits to least kits, but the lowest I’ll go is five. Let’s go!

-Ferncloud had seven kits. She only had one mate, which I support. I think that cats change mates too often. Anyway, it was Dustpelt, who was her uncle which I don’t support. Giving birth to your cousins is weird. Anyway, her first litter was Spiderleg and Shrewpaw, her second litter was Hollykit, Larchkit and Birchfall, and her third litter was Foxleap and Icecloud.

-Whitestorm fathered seven kits. He mated with Brindleface and then he mated with Willowpelt, and then he died while his kits were still kits. So, with Brindleface he had Tulipkit, Elderkit, Ashfur, and Ferncloud, so I guess having tons of kits runs in the family or something. With Willowpelt he had Sorreltail, Sootfur, and Rainwhisker.

-Sorreltail had six kits. Wow, another Whitestorm child! She only had one mate, and he wasn’t related to her as far as I know. Yay Sorreltail! So, her mate was Brackenfur and her first litter was Poppyfrost, Honeyfern, Cinderheart and Molepaw. Her second litter was Lilyheart and Seedpaw. I do not know who Seedpaw is, though.

-Cinderheart had six kits. Apparently it really does run in the family to have tons of kits. Her mate was Lionblaze and I’m not sure about the littermate groups, but I think that Hollytuft, Fernsong and Sorrelstripe were the first litter, named after the Dark Forest battle deaths and the second litter is Spotfur, Flywhisker and Snaptooth.

-Brindleface had five kits. She was one of Whitestorm’s mates. With him, she had Elderkit, Tulipkit, Ashfur and Ferncloud. Before that, she had Sandstorm with Redtail, which is weird because Sandstorm is genetically impossible. Also, the next cat I’m doing is Redtail’s sister. Family, family, family galore.

-Willowpelt had five kits. She was Whitestorm’s other mate! Yay! She had three mates, one of which was her brother. Growl, Willowpelt! I definitely do not support that! With Tawnyspots, she had Darkstripe, with her brother Patchpelt, she had Graystripe, and with Whitestorm she had Sorreltail, Sootfur and Rainwhisker.

-Graystripe fathered five kits. He had two mates, but that’s fine because none of them were related to him and I like him as a character. With his first mate, Silverstream, he had Stormfur and Feathertail. He had Bumblestripe, Blossomfall, and Briarlight with his second mate, Millie. I like both of his mates.

-Swiftbreeze had five kits. She stayed with one mate the whole time. Also, she’s Graystripe’s only grandmother. Her first litter consisted of Patchpelt and Leopardfoot, and her second litter was Willowpelt, Redtail, and Spottedleaf. She starts a big family tree! As you can see from her kits.

-Tigerstar fathered five kits. He mated with Goldenflower in ThunderClan and then with Sasha in TigerClan. He’s Swiftbreeze’s grandson! He had Bramblestar and Tawnypelt with Goldenflower and he had Tadpole, Hawkfrost and Mothwing with Sasha. His kits were in three clans! But, Hawkfrost and Mothwig didn’t have any kits.
