Our schedule for this gathering includes plenty of fun activities for everyone! Be sure to sign up if you haven’t already here – even if you can’t make it to the scheduled events. There’ll be ways to help your team earn some points even if you can’t make it to the Live Chat.

Live Chat Explanation
- The live chat is where the Gathering takes place! To start chatting you must first create a user. Into the “Name” box type your BlogClan name (this is what you will be seen as on the chat), then click on “Profile” at the bottom right hand corner of the chat box. A new window should open, where you can put in the password for your user. Once you’ve done this, press “Log in” and then you should be able to chat freely! (stole this explanation from Josh thanks Josh)
- You MUST have your avatar set as the pre-drawn avatar for your team! We’ll have these ready closer to the day of the gathering 🙂

basically, over blogchat each team will compete through games like name that apprentice, warriors trivia, etc to win points for their respective teams (some games are hosted by mods, others are hosted by guests). there will also be a writing and art contest held over these days for more opportunities to win points. a little bit after the gathering has ended the winning team will be announced! you can come to as little or as much of the gathering as you want, there’s no pressure to be there for everything, and we aim for it to be as fun as possible for everyone 😀 I’m really bad at explaining things feel free to ask further questions for clarification 😛

Oh gosh oh gosh I’m so so sorry I took a volunteer job at my local theater last night and now I’m helping run auditions Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 and then I have rehearsal until 6:30. Ohh gosh I’m so sorry you’re probably really frustrated with me and I don’t blame you. You can give my game slot to someone else if you want. I’m sorry again.

I can come to the Gathering in the morning both days, and I could probably be like half there from 12:30 on, but I don’t think I could be there enough to run my game.

Um…I think it would be better if these were just held in a post or something and have a due time…because some people have HUGE time differences with the BST and its not really fair on them if its live: they’ll never get to join the fun games. Just a suggestion.
T_T I really wanted to join the NTA but I found out that I would have to wake up at 3 if I wanted to do that…
i’d suggest the games page for that! the point of the gathering is mostly that it’s a live event. we’ll try staggering the games a bit more in the future, though!
Aaah hopefully BlogChat will work 4 me for the first time if the chat is open during the gathering (i can never chat on blogchat bc it’s seldom open nowadays + timezones)
