Briarpaw continues their series of comparing depicleopardtions of characters across mediums.

I never thought you guys would like these articles this much. Anyways, here’s part 3! Sorry for the wait!

If you don’t know what I’m doing, take a look at part 1. It explains everything. Here’s a link to it: https://blogclan.katecary.co.uk/2020/05/09/comparing-and-contrasting-different-depictions-of-warrior-cats-by-briarpaw/

And here’s a link to part 2, if you want to take a look!

Okay, now that that’s over with, here we go!

Waffle suggested I do Tawnypelt, so that’s who I’ll do first! Here’s Tawnypelt in The Ultimate Guide:

As you can see, Tawnypelt has a white belly, chest, muzzle, and paws.

However, here’s Tawnypelt on the cover of Tawnypelt’s Clan:

Official art by Owen Richardson

This Tawnypelt has more ginger on her face than the last Tawnypelt, and has a pink nose with a white stripe instead of a large black splotch and black nose.

The manga version of Tawnypelt, however, looks more like the version in the Ultimate Guide than in on Tawnypelt’s Clan.

Here’s a Tawnypelt design I found online!

Art by Jade (Warriors Amino)

There is more beige in this design than with the previous designs. While there is still a white chest, there is more brown and gray on the face. The tail in this design is fluffier than in previous designs.

Finally, here’s a picture of what I think Tawnypelt would look like in real life:

It’s fine if you disagree, of course. Part of the fun of Warriors is to interpret the cats in your own way, and seeing how others interpret them!

For the second cat, we have Leopardstar!

I’ve had Leopardstar in my mind for a while, because I constantly see different interpretations of her. The official description of Leopardstar is being golden and dappled with amber eyes. However, many people stray from this.

Here’s Leopardstar in The Ultimate Guide:

This Leopardstar looks more gingery than golden. Leopardstar also looks broader here. I also don’t see any spots, but they could be on her back.

Manga Leopardstar looks more like I imagine her to look, and is skinnier than what we saw before. I don’t really have much else to say here.

Here’s a different Leopardstar design! It’s on the cover of Code of the Clans.

This Leopardstar is golden, but looks more like a tabby.

Here’s another Leopardstar design!

Art by gekkodesigns

This is a fluffier Leopardstar with a darker tail, fewer spots, and more spots on the face, as well as a beige tail-tip. Leopardstar’s front half is lighter than the back half.

Finally, I couldn’t find a picture of what I’d imagine Leopardstar as in real life, but I think her design is closest to that of an ocicat (breed of cat). Here’s a picture of one:

Alright, that’s it for now. Thanks for reading!
