Nightpaw clears up confusing plot points in Warriors

Hi, I’m Nightpaw, and I will be clearing some confusions that many people have about Warrior cats!

First starting off, Leafpool’s purrsona. Leafpool is a small light brown tabby with white paws, a white chest, and amber eyes. Many people expected Leafpool to be ginger with green eyes like both of her parents, and thought that it was impossible for her to be like this. However, many people didn’t think about Firestar’s parents and siblings.

After searching through Firestar’s family members, Jake (father), Princess (littermate), Cloudtail (nephew), Nutmeg (mother), and Scourge (half-brother), we find some interesting information. Nutmeg is a brown and white tabby she-cat, and Princess is nearly identical to Leafpool: Light brown tabby, distinctive white chest and paws. (From The Darkest Hour allegiances). So, there is only one possibility: Leafpool looks like her aunt, Princess, who looks like her mother, Nutmeg. So in conclusion, it is possible for Leafpool to look this way.

Next is, how are Scourge and Firestar related. Firestar and Scourge seem like two totally different characters, and for those who read The Rise of Scourge, don’t seem to share parents. This one is pretty easy. It turns out that Jake is Scourge’s father with some research, and Quince is his mother. There is one possibility for this as well: Jake mated Nutmeg, then divorced her or Nutmeg died, and then mated Quince afterwards to have Scourge, Ruby, and Socks with her.

Finally, why exactly did Rainflower reject Stormkit? (Later Crookedstar). Many people suggest that it wasn’t entirely because of his accident, which I agree with. Many other cats accepted and loved their kits after accidents, perhaps even more. Some examples are: Millie with Briarlight, Daisy with Berrynose, Frostfur with Cinderpelt, Speckletail with Snowkit, and much more. So why did Rainflower reject Stormkit because of his accident? One possible reason is that Rainflower blamed herself for his accident. This is the most common theory. Rainflower might have felt guilty for not watching Stormkit and not protecting him enough, although this doesn’t explain why she wasn’t so protective later on. Another theory is that Rainflower might have wanted to forget about him and her own grief. Maybe she thought if she pretended Stormkit wasn’t her kit, then her grief would go away.
