Okay, can you just tell me breed and color and a bit about their personalities?
Pepe is a White Leghorn. She’s intelligent, very confident, and sassy, and also mature and wise. She was always a very fair and just leader- pretty strict but still kind.
Cherry is a Red Pyle Dutch Bantam- she’s white with some cream on her head and neck. She’s really sweet, a bit shy but loves and wants affection. Very loving and good at keeping her sister Peach out of trouble- something she takes really seriously.
They sound like they were really good chickens. Thank you, Pinestripe.

I wanted to ask you a question concerning our chick that died. She was attacked by something and the skin on her side was all just peeled off. Our great uncle for some reason thinks that the other chickens skinned her and I’m almost certain that that is impossible, so my question is what could have attacked her?
I think it’s very likely it was a predator.
Raccoons are known to leave dead birds behind. Or maybe opossum.
May she rest in peace. 🙁 Very sorry about your loss.

This summer my grandma’s hens had a bunch of chicks <3 One of them was born with scissor beak so we took her in and feed her with a syringe. We named her Peppercorn <3 Unfortunately she didn't make it. Is there anything we could have done to help her more? How do people helps chickens with scissor beak?

Feeding them with a syringe is actually the exact right thing. Unfortunately sometimes chicks like that end up being to weak to make it, even with the right care- especially when they're so little. 🙁
May she rest in peace. <3 I'm sure she felt really loved and is now hanging out in Heaven with Pepe, Peach, Cherry, Maddy, and other friends. <3

Got my first job taking care of my neighbors’ cats! 😀 Which has been pretty cool!

And I met a really amazing friend recently, who has supported me so much already and I've already seen a big improvement in my wellbeing since we started talking, so that's something I'm grateful for. <3
Currently trying to get back into a good routine with my schoolwork. My mom said we'll start doing more Bible studies soon, so I'm looking forward to that. 🙂

I currently have twelve chickens in all, some of which are rescues. 😀
One of them even lives inside the house and just wanders around where she pleases- her name is Sweet Red and she’s partially blind which is why our friends gave her to my family to take care of.
My three tiniest chickens were a birthday gift and they live in a little coop in my room, so they’re pretty much constantly with me. I love them so much <3
