Warrior Names that may Affect a Kit’s Life by Splashpaw

Splashpaw analyzes some names that could negatively affect a warrior’s life

Hi! I’m Splashpaw/pool and these are some names that could affect a kit’s life
1. Crookedkit:
We all know his name definitely affected his life. After he broke his jaw, his mother renamed him Crookedkit. This and his mother not caring about him was the reason Mapleshade came to him. Mapleshade made sure he got everything he ever wanted, but lost everything he cared for. But now, Crookedstar was a great leader, and has taken his place in StarClan
2. Stumpytail:
I don’t know if this name affected Stumpytail, but if I was named Stumpytail, it’d probably affect me. Who knows? Maybe he killed his leader πŸ™‚
3. Brokenkit:
Most of us know the real reason of Brokenkit’s name. Yellowfang named him that for the broken feeling in her heart. But a lot of the ShadowClan cats probably saw it as his crooked tail, and perhaps thought of it in a bad way. Between his name and Lizardstipe being a horrible mother to him, he was bound to become evil.
4. Lostface:
This name definitely affected Brightheart before she was called Brightheart. As Lostface, she lost courage and was always sad. Thanks to Bluestar, whenever she sees her reflection, she’ll always think of her first warrior name.
5. White-eye:
I don’t think this name affected White-eye but just because she’s blind in one eye doesn’t make the name fine. It’s an unkind name to name a cat. Same with One-eye, when she was called that, and I know she agreed to it, but I think deep down, she didn’t like it.
6. Halftail:
I’m pretty sure he was fine with this name when he moved to the elder’s den, but if my tail got cut off, I’d still keep my beautiful name, Splashpool.
7. Foxheart:
Let’s be honest, why would you want your name to be Foxheart? It would sound like you’re a bad cat. A Fox-heart.
8. Deadpaw:
We all love what Deappaw said in Tallstar’s Revenge. β€œMy paw may be dead but my spirit is strong” or something like that. But what kind of mother would let the leader rename their kit to that? Poor Hopkit, I wish I knew what his warrior name would’ve been if his name remained. At least his warrior name, Deadfoot, makes sense.
That’s all I could think of, but comment anyone I missed and what you thought!
