Hi everyone (yes, it’s me, the one who makes cat-astrophic cat puns)!
Un-fur-tunately I’ve been inactive on BlogClan for months now. But recently I reread my “Warriors do Disney” article that was posted a while back. Once I was over the cringe of my a-paw-ling cat puns, I was so pleased to read the meowtains of pawsitive comments on it! A few people had asked me to do another, so here I am.

After nearly three hours of procrastinating and intensive Spotify, here are some that I came up with! I’ve posted links to the songs under the titles, I hope they work….

Friends on the other side (from The Princess and the Frog) Friends On The Other Side – Dr. Facilier

I was thinking Dr. Facilier (the antagonist of the movie) could be Breezepelt. He’s showing new trainees around the Dark Forest. And, obviously, the ‘friends on the other side” are Tigerstar, Hawkfrost, Mapleshade, etc. There are many relevant lyrics that I can’t paw-sibly all list. But if you want to, look it up and you’ll see what I mean. And there’s a bonus – his voice reminds me of what I think Breezepelts would sound like!

If you ignore the fact that there are actually two people singing, this could be quite a nice song for Rock to sing. Although Rock doesn’t exactly brag about his godliness, I can just imagine him singing this to Jayfeather (who would be standing in the background, looking bored). And although the song is mostly about Rock gloating, he does tell Jayfeather that it’s “tough to be a god!”

Be Prepared (from the Lion King)

I’ve honestly got no idea how I left this out of my last article, it fits perfectly!

Of course, Tigerstar would be Scar, singing to his Dark Forest employees, probably during late TNP, confiding in his army about his plans to kill Firestar (Mufasa). I’m going to paste some of the most relevant lyrics down below. The main three hyenas (i don’t know their names) would be Darkstripe, Sparrowfeather, and Snowtuft.

So prepare for a chance of a lifetime
Be prepared for sensational news
A shining new era
Is tiptoeing nearer

I know it sounds sordid
But you’ll be rewarded
When at last I am given my dues
And injustice deliciously squared
Be prepared!

The ‘shining new era’ is Tigerstar’s rule and the ‘injustice’ is when Firestar exposed Tigerstar and kicked him out of ThunderClan.

Poor Unfortunate Souls (From The Little Mermaid)

If I remember correctly, Mapleshade had a slightly rushed appearance in Crookedstar’s Promise but I still think that Mapleshade would be the sea witch (edit: her name’s Ursula, but I only googled that later) and she’s explaining to a young Crookedstar about how she helps ‘poor unfortunate souls’ like him.

Mother knows best (from Tangled)

Conveniently following up from one from my last article, this Tangled song could also be about Briarlight, with Millie singing. Purr-sonally, I wouldn’t say Millie is a villain, but, if the Erins had developed her more, she could have been a well-written manipulator like Rapunzel’s mother. Millie was overprotective and didn’t want Briarlight to go out of camp because of her injury. Although this song doesnt exactly fit with the canon situation, I think it would be interesting if Millie had been written in this manipulative way to develop her character.

He’s a Tramp (from Lady and the Tramp)

Firstly, ignore that it’s about dogs. :3 Secondly, the singer, a side character called Peg, could be Silverstream, singing about Graystripe. Yes, Graystripe isn’t a tramp, but he’s a troublemaking, clumsy floofball and does fit quite a few of the descriptions from the lyrics. And Peg’s voice sounds awfully Silverstream-y.
