Shredear and Morningdew analyze Sandstorm and Spottedleaf
Hello! My name is Shredear and today me and Morningdew are debating, Who is a better mate for Firestar? I will be on Spottedleaf’s side and Morningdew will be on Sandstorm’s side. Lets begin. Also this article will be ignoring the med cats no mate rule.
(Morningdew) Hello!! Nice to see you! This is me and Shredear’s FIRST article! Lets start! I think Sandstorm would be better for Firestar because they have similar ages. Also Sandstorm is a warrior! If Spottedleaf lived, there would be too much responsibility for her too have time too mate with Firestar.
(Shredear) If Spottedleaf had become mates with Firestar there would be no Squirrelflight and Leafpool. This may sound bad but hear me out. During The New Prophecy when Bramblestar (claw at the time), Tawnypelt, Crowfeather (paw at the time), Feathertail, Stormfur, and Squirrelflight (paw at the time) went on the journey to find Midnight at the sun-drown place (ocean), Squirrelflight(paw) did nothing but get in the way. (some of you may say Stormfur didn’t need to come either, but that’s unrelated) And Leafpool mated with Crowfeather, AND they had kits which is worse. 1000% breaking all rules. A little harmless mating would be fine, BUT KITS?! Feathertail would have been a better mate for Crowfeather. BUT THAT’S KINDA UNRELATED. MOVING ON.
(Morningdew) I thought we were gonna ignore the no mates med cat rule? (Shredear) I only ignore for Spottedleaf… (Morningdew) Whatever fine. But what about The Three? Also if Crow and Feather were mating that would still be breaking rules. Also there would be no Alderheart and Sparkpelt. And who would be deputy? Stormcloud, Foxleap, and Rosepetal would have different mentors. Not to mention, Who would Dustpelt mentor? Bramblestar’s mate would most likely be Jessy! So much could go wrong without Squirrelflight.
(Shredear) Ok girl lets stay in present time. I think Spottedleaf would still be better cause she gets many signs from Starclan, Starclan could send her news and Spottedeaf could tell Firestar. And Sandstorm gets jealous way to easy. She even got mad when Firestar didn’t give her an apprentice. That’s just mean. Spottedleaf is also prettier, nicer, SMARTER. Spottedleaf is a much better choice.

I think that Spottedleaf is a better match for firepaw/Fireheart/Firestar!!!! ^-^ They were a huge age gapp, but they had a huge understanding of each other!! PLUSE I LOVED SPOTTEDLEAF!!! My opinion is SopttedxFire For EVA!!!!! *~*

Sixth: There are so many waays Brambleclaw could have died without Squirrelflight

Eight: Firestar only liked Spottedleaf because she was, and I quote “pretty”
Nine: Squirrelpaw actually helped a lot in the New Prophecy, Tawnypelt would have died and the prophecy would have not been fulfilled if Squirrel and Leaf weren’t born
Tenth: Feather x Crow would have never worked out any way because Feathertail wouldn’t want to make the same mistake as her father
So no, Spottedleaf would actually doom the Clans if she was Firestar’s mate
Sorry but I wholeheartedly DISAGREE! Sandstorm was a much better match for Firestar as she was supportive and stayed by his side while Spottedleaf barely gave him any helpful information, and they have a huge age gap. And also, they are not very good for each other. Spottedleaf is somewhat a Mary Sue, and she stalked Firestar and didn’t give him any useful prophecies. AND if Firestar x Sandstorm didn’t happen, who would give birth to the Three? The forest would be taken over by the Dark Forest because Firestar made a horrible decision. And they don’t even have a lot of chemistry. And what does Crow x Feather have to do with the article? Nothing! I agree more with Morningdew…
And Tawnypelt (who would give birth to Tigerstar II, Flametail, and Dawnpelt) would’ve died from a rat infection if Squirrel and Leaf hadn’t been born. And not to mention the fact that I’m pretty sure Tawny is going to be a POV in the new arc (Changing Skies or CS). And Crow x Feather isn’t good either but that’s for another time! I 1,000,000% disagree!
