Where Ashfur went wrong and Thrushpelt went right by Icemist

Icemist compares Ashfur and Thrushpelt

Hello! It’s Icemist, and I’m going to talk about how Ashfur messed up and how Thrushpelt was right. But first, let’s look at the love triangles Oak x Blue x Thrush & Bramble x Squirrel x Ash.

OakXBlueXThrush:
Thrushpelt loved Bluestar for a long time, but even though Bluestar was friends with him, she never had feelings for Thrushpelt. OakXBlue is a cute couple(the midnight scene is so adorable) and Bluestar actually loved Oakheart. Then they had kits and Bluestar asked Thrushpelt to be the foster father and he did. He did this because he really cares about Bluestar and knows that she needs help. Thrushpelt is one of the best friends to have and he isn’t even sour about not being mates with Bluestar. But Bluestar realized she needs to be deputy to stop Thistleclaw so she gives her kits away to Oakheart, to be raised by Graypool in RiverClan. So there it ends, Oakheart & Thrushpelt die later on. Bluestar becomes leader.

BrambleXSquirrelXAsh:
Bramblestar & Squirrelflight went on the sun – drown journey with Feathertail(RIP), Stormfur, Tawnypelt, & Crowfeather. They were always arguing, but they loved each other too. Then they fought about the whole Hawkfrost thing and eventually made up. But during their fight, Ashfur was getting close to Squirrelflight, and she actually had some feelings for him. Ashfur WAS sour about losing Squirrelflight and was mean toward BrambleXSquirrel. (SPOILERS FOR ALITM) Then once Ashfur died, he took over Bramblestar and was the reason Bristlefrost died.. :(RIP. He tried to get Squirrelflight to love him, but she didn’t.

Ok, so let’s actually compare these two. Blue & Squirrel wanted Thrush & Ash as just friends, while Oak & Bramble as mates. Thrushpelt accepted this, because he was a good friend to Bluestar and only cared about Bluestar’s happiness, not about being her mate. Ashfur didn’t, which was one of the worst things to happen. Because of this, Firestar nearly died, Hollyleaf, Jayfeather, & Lionblaze nearly died, Ashfur himself died, he was the whole reason for TBC, & Bristlefrost died. A whole book series was created because of Ashfur. Bristlefrost!!! RIP RIP. Ashfur is one of the worst villains today, because of that one thing. I did feel bad for Ashfur in the beginning, definitely not anymore.

So this is why Thrushpelt is good and he really deserved more.(Though I like OakXBlue) He doesn’t get enough recognition for what he did. But we all thank Thrushpelt, may he rest in peace. I hate Ashfur so much. Anyways, thanks for reading and please comment if you agree with me or not! Adios!
