Leopardstar, the leader of RiverClan, is sort of…uhhh…how should I put this???? Stupid. I mean, there are some cool things about her like how Mudfur named her after LeopardClan from the ancient days. But in other ways, she’s just plain stupid. First up, she was angry at Graystripe and Firestar when they had just saved WindClan. I mean, they were just taking a shortcut through the gorge in her territory. LEOPARDSTAR declares a battle. During the battle, Graystripe is wrestling Whiteclaw, and Whiteclaw falls into the gorge and drowns. But……….Leopardstar is yowling at Graystripe and Fireheart when it was an accident! AN ACCIDENT! It’s fate, Barkface predicted it! FATE I SAY. Now another stupid thing. She joins TigerClan. And that branches out into more stupid things. First, she agrees and then is overthrown by Tigerstar. She realizes her mistake way to late, and because of her stupid ways, Stonefur died. She almost destroys RiverClan! ANOTHER STUPID THING! She appoints Hawkfrost as deputy. Sure he’s good, but Hawkfrost is evil, walking onto Tigerstar in the Dark Forest. He also made Mothwing medicine cat. Not cool! Another thing. She banishes Stormfur and Brook Where Small Fish Swim. They would have been great warriors, had Hawkfrost not provoked Stormfur and helped Mothwing lie at a Gathering in Sunset. Hawkfrost! ANOTHER STUPID THING. She tries to keep Hollypaw hostage in fear that she would blurt the problems of RiverClan to the other Clans. Not cool. After Mistyfoot is saved from the Twolegs, Leopardstar promises to Mistyfoot, “I will never let you down again.” After all the stupid things she did, can we really trust her? In Omen of the Stars, The Fourth Apprentice, she does something stupid. “Fox dung! This is a trick! You’re just trying to cheat RiverClan out of our fish. You want to get rid of some of our warriors so that we can’t keep up with the patrols anymore.” And at a Gathering! What proof does she have against Firestar? And why would Firestar do that. He’s Firestar! Yet another stupid thing. Skykit almost drowns because of Leopardkit’s ARROGANCE. Feathertail was right to struggle to trust Leopardstar after she joined TigerClan in A Shadow in RiverClan. I hope you liked this and I don’t care if you hate this. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Itโs really stupid to say she stupid and why would you use the Tigerclan argument it gets really old and she did what she thought was best for her clan and she didnโt realize what Tigerstarโs real goal was
Personally I don’t think Leopardstar was stupid, but her vain nature was what led her to act rashly. What ruined her for me was her exiling her father. Great article tho.
these are all great points but the only thing I oppose of is that Mothwing being med cat is bad….She is a good med cat and I think she will serve her clan well…
I donโt think Leopardstar is stupid. First of all, whatโs so terrible about blaming Graystripe for the accident? Why should she believe Graystripe when practically NO CATS from different clans believe each other? I think other leaders would have done the same if one of their warriors got killed because of another cat. And also, there is no guarantee that Firestar wouldnโt do something bad just because โhe is Firestarโ. And Leopardstar joined TigerClan because her clan was too weak; she had her reasons. And I think it was Leopardkit who drowned, not Skykit.

First of all, Iโd like to say this about Leopardstar and Whiteclawโs death. She saw Greystripe standing over the gorge after fighting with some cat, and genuinely thought that he pushed Whiteclaw over. You cannot blame her for thinking that, when Thunderclan killed a lot of Riverclan warriors.
I know she is indeed a reckless cat, for better or for worse, but most things about her stated in this article are only told by our point of view. You have to actually think about how sheโd feel or think in a situation.

What?! What do you mean Skykit almost drowned bc of her ARROGANCE. She almost drowned bc of SKYKIT’S ARROGANCE. Skykit was a jerk to her! She was downright MEAN! Also, how would you feel if you were her and you saw a Thunderclan warrior kill one of your cats? MAD THAT’S WHAT! She didn’t know it was an accident! She is NOT to blame! And, how was she possibly supposed to know that Hawkfrost was evil? Like, she was being RESPECTFUL bc she wasn’t judging him for who his dad was! So what if he ended up evil! She can’t predict that! No one can! Plus, she also didn’t know that Tigerstar was evil, and that he would kill her cats. Only Firestar would have known that bc HE KNEW TIGERSTAR. Leopardstar didn’t! So lay off her, okay?
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO GETS IT!
I hate/dislike leopardstar but this is completely irrational. For one, she didnโt know Hawkfrost was evil. She also had no idea that Graystripe killed him on accident. If your sworn enemy was seen fighting with one of your warriors and suddenly fell off the gorge, genuinely tell me you would believe-once again- the cat you hate with every fiber of your being?? For tigerclan, she didnโt know tigerstarโs true intentions until her halfclan apprentices and deputy are being treated like trash. The one genuinely stupid thing she did was encourage Stonefur to kill Featherpaw and Stormpaw, and show zero remorse as her LOYAL deputy, who was willing to get himself killed to prove his loyalty to her, is brutally murdered.
I disagree. first of all Firestar and Graystripe were in HER territory. What do you want Leopardstar to do? Forget about boundaries? Secondly, why would she not be angry if a warrior died? And did Leopardstar know that Barkface predicted it? Okay yes, joining TigerClan was stupid, but everyone does at least 1 stupid thing in their life. Also did she know what Hawkfrost did? From what I can tell no. And she was just spoiled as a kit, not her fault
