Hi! Welcome back! This is my article for ‘My Opinions on the Warrior Code’ part 2!(You probably know from the title) Let’s finish the topic now!

8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.

I feel like this is too obvious. Well, let’s get on to the next code then!

9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen
before moonhigh.

I guess I kind of agree with this one. But I’m not sure why they need to choose a deputy before moonhigh. What if the deputy dies just a minute before moonhigh? Maybe you can extend the time? There’s no rush! The leader COULD act as a deputy and a leader, couldn’t they?

10. A gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.

AGREE! The Clans only share news, not fighting. Debating can probably be okay…

11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

Boundaries MUST be checked daily. ‘Challenge’ doesn’t mean fighting though… I think asking what they are doing in their territory would be for the best. Fighting can lead to worse situations.

12. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.

I’ve got to agree! Kits are the future to the Clans. Warriors and apprentices and all cats should do whatever they can to save a kit.

13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.

Hmm yes… But if the leader’s words are insane, SOMEONE should at least object. Like if the leader was an evil cat and the warriors knew, they shouldn’t follow the leader’s words.

14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.

I definitely agree! Fighting isn’t a solution to everything! I think peaceful solutions are the best.

15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

This isn’t necessary. All warriors have different opinions and feelings! Everyone should respect their thoughts. If a cat desires to become a kittypet, they should let them go.
