Was Mapleshade manipulated into being evil? By Mistypool

Hello! So as the title says, I’ll be talking about if Mapleshade was manipulated into being evil.

Why I thought of this:
When I read Mapleshade’s Vengence, like, the 3d time? When Mapleshade ends up in the Dark Forest, there is a voice talking to her, and its the only one too… how do I put this? ‘Welcome’ her. I thought it was weird why a cat, who is in the Dark Forest, even knows that she is coming? So, I think its the weird cat (Who is NOT Frecklewish), welcomes her, but I know she didn’t reveal herself, because, either she was fading, or they just are very secretive.

Why I think this cat was manipulating her:
She has visions of her kits drowning, and that doesn’t make since why kits would be telling her to avenge them, but its perfect, for a cat to get onto the Dark Forest’s side, I think, the cat used the deaths, and turned it into a nightmare. That seems… weird. So, I’m going to the official warrior cats family tree, and see. *Looks* I guess they faded away… Well, we don’t know the cat’s name, then I’ll just call him Darkfang. Darkfang saw a lost, vengeful, confused, she’cat, outcast by her Clan, lost EVERYTHING. Perfect, for getting a cat on their side, I guess there was going to be a earlier Dark Forest battle, but Darkfang must of faded away. Also, the part where Frecklewish is in the Dark Forest, I say… its complicated… but I say that Oakstar should have gone there. Again, this cat was the only one to talk to her, when she entered the Dark Forest. Darkfang could have been starting a rebellion, and could kidnap Frecklewish, and them just lure Oakstar there, and then use him to find the border, but then, he faded away, so he failed. And I guess Mapleshade kept cursing Appledusk’s family (Which I guess Crookedstar is Appledusk’s kin?), also, I guess why Frecklewish is still in the Dark Forest, is because of the SkyClan Frecklewish. Which the cats getting named the same names as other cats, Larksong/wing, Robinwing, ect… I also like how Mapleshade has that burn on Frecklewish when she gets bitten, here’s the quote: “Help! It bit me!” pleaded Frecklewish, “Like you helped my kits? I hope you die in agony!” OK, so not the direct quote, but close. I like to imagine the cool glasses fall onto Mapleshade’s eyes when she has that burn.
